NOT slow at all!! even with much more worst conditions.
Another point is that according to drivers,smaller wheelbase is not better at high speed rallies as some mates were saying against me. :p


ps On Sunday there is another ss that was same as ss4 at 2010 Torntorp - 19.21 km .Lets wait to see also in this ss the comparison.

the fact that you are comparing times between actual stages where conditions change every year is indeed amazing...what is more amazing is that you compare stages in sweden where there are even more factors contributing to the time sheets....for example snowbanks, quality of ice, snow and some others which play an important role.....but i guess a gravel/snow special stage remains in the same condition every year....just like an F1 track...

Also last years likeenas was around 400m longer so i guess the new WRCs are much faster

While on the super special stage where conditions are controlled the new wrcs were 5 seconds slower that last year in the EXACT same (2.9KMs) route.

My brain hurts....

another fun fact fromt the likeenas stage...last years route was different than this years, the start was from a different place....go to planet marcus and check the google maps.....LOL

the 2010 edition had a 3 km start which is literally 3 long starights...while the 2011 edition has a 1.3 km twisty section.

Its getting amusing.

I ve already wrote that it is not right to compare between different years,it is just for reference.But explain please how you know that the ice was at 2011 faster than 2010?All drivers said the opposite for this year Sweden,due to fresh snow that didn t allow the studs to grip at ice.

S2000 crews was also very close in time,less than 4 seconds at 20,78 km.Not so different snow/ice...

So 2011 edition was slower.....

conditions are far better than yesterday....splits are broken again not everything is shown.

no sweeping effect today....unlucky for Loeb. At least on first stage.
