No, I meant "what sort of cars do they usually drive?" Homer has some sort of dented... thing, and I'm sure that they have a wagon thing. But which car maker are they?

In North America, the size of a car is a status symbol. Historically, a bigger car represents wealth and prosperity, both things that Americans always want to express.
The Focus is considered a small car in NA.

A Ford Focus is a great (since it is what I drive....) and the LW agrees, we both prefer an Aston Martin but that's for another thread.
Someone I know through work has an Aston and it shares parts with a Focus. He went through it and showed which parts of the instrument panel came from which Ford cars. Also on the back of the wheel centres there is a Ford badge.
I don't know if that's good or bad....
