2023 Based in Loutraki?
Yes, this is what rumors say in Greece
So booking accomondation from last years maps would be premature?
More like 2012?
This year our plan is to visit Rally Acropolis (the last European round we are missing in our list). Is it normally possible to enter the stages via start or finish or even to enter the small villages near the start or finish line? Because our experience for example in Portugal was that, even the villages near the start or finish area were spacious blocked by police.
Looking for accommodation is too early? wrc.com says service is in Lamia but as always, maybe they are a bit behind. ;)
Access to stages in Acropolis Rally has nothing to do with Rally Portugal.
It is more or less free to walk across the stage. Access to villages is free and more or less easy.
If you want to book early, you can book two apartments (with free cancelation): one in Lamia and one in Loutraki.......
When you do Acropolis - around Loutraki it will be easier for the debut, I think - you will forget about discgusting and derogatory behaviour of Portuguese police especially GNR unit, which is my favourite around the world, next to guardia civil from Spain:D
yes you can enter the stage from the start.. entering it from the finish and moving opposite of the stage flow is dangerous and you could be stopped though.
also some times stages close earlier than the 3 hour limit set by the organisers so i would suggest to be there earlier than that, maybe 4 -4.30 hours just to be safe.
it is really up to the marshals and police though... some are more strict than others.
