The only figures I’ve seen when there was a programme series called “Engineering the World rally” on Discovery. Discovery made a 6 part programme of Prodrive that year when they struggled with the “snake” problem (I can’t recall the year).

In rally GB they compared budgets, staff etc. with a young British driver Kevin Davies driving a Fiesta ST 150.

The result of the comparison was:

Price tag = 35 500 € for the Fiesta vs. 600 000 € for the Subaru
Staff = 8 part time volunteers for the Fiesta team vs. 170 full time professionals for Subaru (Prodrive)
Budget = 50 000 € for the Fiesta team vs. 50 000 000 € for Subaru (Prodrive)

This sounds a bit specific because it was ten times bigger than Kevin's budget.

Does anyone have the figures for what a team like Hyundai or Mini might have spent. I suppose they would not have the same amounts as the above???

Don't know if it's been mentioned before:

Rumours in Belgium say that Yves Matton is taking over Quesnel's place at Citroen. It should be official shortly.

I think Matton is favourite for the position.

Only at Citroen it seems, I heard this too today. So probably Quesnel will leading Peugeot Sport still in Le Mans, or they probably searching somebody good for circuit series too :)
