Well, it was a bit strange...
He was not allowed to start in the afternoon. He could not get 15 inches tires anywhere (because they could not find tires for such a specific car) and had only 16 inches tires. He got the warning on the first day and finally he was not allowed to start in the afternoon.

It was Mats Jonsson in a Ford Escort WRC from 1996, his time on SS2 14:54,2
Peter Zachrisson did that stage in 15:16,9 with an Volvo 940

Pontus Tideman has also performed excellent times, I think he should be top 3 in WRC with thoose, 12:15,7 on SS3 (PG 12:10,1) 11:40,0 on SS4 (Östberg 11:36,5)

Did he use 15" or 16" in the morning stages 2-4??

I think they were ´a bit´ disappointed after Arctic Lapland Rally. DNF in both days there and the latter of those was because of tyres were not right for his Civic. Hope they come back to Finland (FRC or WRC)!!

Is HANS mandatory in the Swedish championship runners ?

In an interview he was really disappointed and it seems that he didn't had any 15` tires and I assume he drove with 16` tires in the morning as well.
Yes, in Arctic rally he also retired on the second stage? due to the broken gearbox and second day also on the second stage and reason was again tire related (he switched the tires between the stages but was in hurry.. so he didn't fasten everything correctly and soon he lost the wheel on the next stage...).
