So we are comparing an 8 time world champ against a rookie who has only seen a few WRC events in a JWRC car and who won't have a single pace note that means anything.
If we are looking for comparisons - how will he compare against Ott and will he outpace Matthew Wilson from the very first.
His progress has been startling, and yes I know it is IRC but no dummy ever won the Tour de Corse in whatever series it was held

Well, they will battle in the same championship. Don't want to compare with driver from 5th place, only with best.

He's not motivated that's for sure, if he states he only want to drive WRC in a full program with a WRC full option.. He declined a deal with Proton. Basso didn't who's also a very fast pilot not so talent like Duval but he took it. If you're motivated u take every chance. Duval Sr was also dissapointed in him because of that..

And Neuville is a very marketable guy, something that Duval hadn't, Thierry is already the face of Zeiss and is sponsored by Superdry. That doesn't happen often that a rally driver here in Belgian is so popular with kinda big brands.

No, you'd expect Boonen or Gilbert to get all top brands....

I truly believe that Thierry is destined for great things - he just needs plenty of experience, particularly on gravel....give him time.

If you could put sponsorship on the bottom of a car marketing wouldnt be a problem for Duval, it wouldnt take him long to show it ;)

According to Autosport.pt, Bruno Magalhães is trying to do the IRC next year, he is just awaiting some answers for sponsors.

He wants to continue to work with Carlos Barros (ex-Peugeot Sport Portugal boss). If the project fails then he's back to the national championship.

Meanwhile both 207's from Peugeot Portugal were sold to Italy.
