I can't believe you are selling it! Why and do you think you will get your money back on it?Quote:

Good luck with the auction but I have already spent too much money this month on models.
I had a number arrive this morning to boost my collection:
1994 Lammers Volvo 850 Estate
1996 Rydell Volvo 850
1996 Kaye Honda Accord
1997 Watts Peugeot 406
1997 Leslie Nissan Primera
1997 Rydell Volvo S40
1998 Morbidelli Volvo S40
Very impressed with your Astra of Cleland.Quote:

Thanks.
Iwas lucky, the guy who built the model for me converted it to right hand drive and he had a spare set of wheels that were the right ones but there are companies like grandprixmodels that sell sets of wheels so they should have the right onesQuote:

That doesn't mean it's Matt Neal. Anyone could come up with a related user name. I could create a "100+TDNissan" as my Ebay ID.Quote:

I have had a flyer from TRAX models this morning as they are having a sale which includes the 04 Carl Breeze Alfa for only £9.99. Also it has the 1968 6hr Nurburgring Broadspeed Escorts 2 car set at £19.99. Most of the other models are from the DTM a few WTCC and the V8 series.
Unfortunately I have all the one I would have wanted!!
Here is the website if you are interested http://www.trax-modles.co.uk
Or http://www.trax-models.co.uk with models spelt correctly ;)
I was unlucky enough to pay full price for the two Schnitzer BMW 320si cars a week before they were reduced to £9.99
Ooops that was well checked before I posted it!!! :DQuote:

I was going to order the Carl Breeze model from Trax Models but their order form page isnt a secure webpage and its where you have to enter your card details.
I know they are a legit company and a very good one from when i've seen them at meetings but this put me off from ordering.
Has anyone had any problems from their order page or been put off from ordering like I have?
No, I use them all the time :) Never had any problems, despite the unsecure ordering system. I wouldn't worry about it tbh, its just a mailto form which sends your details to their e-mail system, and whilst its unencrypted, the chances of you having a problem are remote at worst.Quote:

Failing that, do Trax accept Paypal as a form of payment? instead of giving credit/debit card details you could pay them via Paypal? i know of a few sites that accept paypal that arn't linked to eBay at all.
And i would have thought a Carl Breeze Alfa would be cheaper from off eBay anyway, rather than from i direct company like Trax models.
Oh, i forgot this little link to one BTCC model i would love to buy, but its far too dear for me at this price...

You can still post/telephone orders yes. No paypal though. I wouldn't expect to find the Breeze Alfa for less than £10 on ebay. Only one listed on ebay atm is £15. (btw I'm not their salesperson :-P )Quote:

I have used Trax for years. They are very good. Just give them a call.
It's £10 on Trax atm in the bargain section :)Quote:

Where?
In Northern Ireland, as a prize in a charity raffle held at a rally sponsored by the Turkingtons.
Ah ok, I really wish they'd release it properly. Who was it made by?
Looked like a Spark version to me going by the grey base. Didn't see it close up, but it had a custom Team RAC sleeve on it. Might be just an internal RAC release for now, but hopefully it'll become commercially available eventually. I'm sure there's a market for it.
:) you cant beat a bargain bucket so fair enough.Quote:

We produced these for team RAC. As i understand it they will only be used internally and possible prizes, the only thing i can suggest is to keep an eye on Ebay.
