Btw, great counter attack by Gus. Winning 9,7 to Rossel
Hopefully the car will cool down in road mode and the gearbox hangs in there...
Ott reached service park
Tanak has made it back to Lamia. :)
Yessss!
Thank god. This would have been hard punishment after such a stellar drive
Stressful end to the rally for Ott...

I wonder, do they collect article ideas from this forum?
4 event fot wrc2 points, but still all 7 for wrc points. But it doesn't change the fact that he is ahead of them :D
Great drive by Tanak, lucky the gearbox broke when it broke, although he would have been super unlucky if it broke on Sunday after a great rally.
We have to see Kalle's performance on fast gravel next. If he's still slow and with no confidence, he will hardly challenge for the title, the 2 asphalt rounds remaining won't save him.
kalle isn´t "slow" in the meaning he is slow. Bcs he is still fast. My personal thought is that he must set up new goals, meaning it´s full focus from now on. Nothing else matters. That would help him in Est and Fin.
It seems tha it will be almost impossible for Kalle to get used to Hankook on gravel. They have already tried everything. The tyre will be developed during the years and after that you never know.
At the same time have to remember that Estonia is his best event to succeed. It´s weird that Kalle is better in Estonia than Tänak and Kalle is not able to beat Tänak in Finland. It´s not Kalle´s event at all and also Evans has been there stronger.
A very nice Rally Acropolis 2025 with a good route in my opinion.
We enjoyed it very much once more.
I really liked that this was the 1st win of Tanak at Rally Acropolis and also his and Hyundai's 1st win of the season.
I am not a Tanak or Hyundai supporter in general. But I like him because he is always very spectacular and even more because sometimes his is unlucky.
This year they already deserved to have a win so it was about time to actually get it.
I would really like it if Evans or Tanak get this year's title.
If I should bet now, I would say Tanak.
EST and FIN are all different sport of rallying. You can give Kalle Toyota Celica with any tyres and he still beats Ford Pumas.
Are you all forgotten about Sardinia power stage? Kalle absolutely smashed the field with 8 secs.
Btw I am Tänak's fanboy not Kalle's :D
To you visitors of acropolis rally: how was temperatures? How did you surrender the heatwaves of Mediterrainian?

Just watched the replay of the Power Stage and you can really see Ott trying to avoid 3rd gear (the one that broke first) as much as possible. Shifting from 2nd to 4th quickly with almost no throttle application, going from 4th to 2nd just as quickly, and slowing down before corners so he doesn‘t have to shift up.
All in all, I‘m genuinely amazed he was even still up on the first couple of splits before the issue got worse.

I got heat stroke on Saturday from the crazy sun, heat and humidity from Friday. It wasn't good.
Vomited after I drove into SS8 for lock-in stage... and then stage opened after sweeper... drove the rest of the stage and about 5 mins before exiting, pulled over and vomited more! I was out for the rest of the day I think.
