Evans has his moments but doesnt have that final piece/edge over others that could give him title. This season was all about Neuville vs Tänak, since Ogier and Kalle are out.

I think the FIA are more of a problem than anything else. No one seems to think they know what they are doing.
Clearly they are trying to drive the manufacturers away with this Working Group that seemingly didn't even talk to anyone.
And BTW, these current regs are also the product of the FIA....
I agree, Neuville's been excellent.
As for the series, think its hit rock bottom. As for myself cant really tell whats the main reason I have lost interest. Weak competition/Ott sucking? Probably both. Just 2-3 seasons ago I was taking fridays off just to watch rally. The excitment was building through the week, now rallying is like white noise. LOL
That is awesome to watch :D very very slippery! Things may happen here
Edit: animals getting hit not awesome*, but not Lappi's fault tho.
Quite eventful run by Lappi, hitting zebra, some other animals on the road as well.
Helicopter should warn drivers about animals or at least they would maybe stay away from the helicopter..
Okay, now from Fourmaux the helicopter is up and they don't have to slow down for animals.. a bit unfair, but okay.
E: Lappi problems again, just cruising
What, Katsuta 5sec faster than Neuville in 1st split. This will not end up well.
Instead of showing rally, they show Lappi's cruising for long time.. ffs wrc+
It will be a puncture lottery probably here - Lappi and Tänak both with punctures.
The rocky section on the hill isnt close to finish this year, so you have to go long time with puncture
Does anyone know how thick the windscreen on those cars actually is? On Neuville's onboard, it looked it the glass wonked and warped all the time like thin plastic due to car's vibrations, didn't look at all that solid to me.
Front right puncture for Taka?
and Kalle destroys everyone...yaaawn
Lalalalallaa and Neuville again on Saturday morning absolutely blasted to the 2nd place..
what the hell of kalle's pace, doesn't he care about the possible crash?
He is driving only selected rallies, the only thing he cares is win and he doesn’t care if crashes while getting the win or not. He has nothing to lose
This is also where the huge difference in pace comes compared to Tänak, Neuville and Evans cause they have to manage and make sure they get to the finish and get points and think about championship
But next year he will walk the championship anyway. He is just step above others and one with the machine like Tänak was with Toyota or Ogier with VW or Loeb with Citroen.
That's the pace of someone who doesn't have to worry about the championship, and has all his other competitors with nothing left to fight for.
But i still think it's stupid from him to keep such a high pace with all risks connected to it when there is no need anymore.
Lets see what Afternoon will bring for us. The clouds are pretty much rising now, I think we might see all the 3 stages wet. Or at least 2 of them
Evans is about a minute behind Fourmaux and has a big gap behind himself. That's not changing unless Fourmaux has a problem or something very wacky happens with exquisitely timed rain. So he might as well get through the day and think about Sunday points.
This afternoon is about the Neuville/Katsuta battle, whatever semi-random car damage and punctures occur, and perhaps the rain.
