Well the first cars lay down a lot of rubber and clear the road so the later cars should be faster, but neuville trying to make up as much time as possible knowing he will playing the maid tomorrow with his broom.

If you take the starting order for SS and reverse it you get pretty much perfect agreement with the results. (dust cleaning + rubber laying).
Not complaining, it's rally, but can't use it to read much into the driver speed.
Not something Ogier usually does though - he has more sense. Macho posturing can get a driver into deep merde very quickly. Like the truism goes, ‘You can’t win the rally on the first stage but you sure as hell can lose it!’Quote:
