Red flag this stage anyway...

Unbelievable.....

There is a reason why Meeke has never finished germany in a wrc...

shit stage to be honest. too tight... we will see a few more guys running into issues tonight

True it's completely his fault. But they could have added plastic cones/edges instead of having open concrete ends on each corner.

...or don't try to do a stage on 100 meters of a road.

Yeah, the stage is crap but this was just him underestimating the width of the car.

The stage is awful, but you can still complete it. Turned in too early, no-one but Kris to blame for that.

What is the interest of provide gymkana stage like this? Nothing to gain and everything to lose with this trap

I wrote that this stage is stupid before Meeke. From beginning I must say that this stage is one big shit. Very tight, very slow, truly boring. And easy to destroy the car.

Bit similar as what happend to Neuville in Sweden.

Oh... poor me... I will die 30 years earlier cheering for Citroen this year.

The interest is bringing the cars to the people, instead of bringing the people out to the stages. Getting new fans in. Also, due to Gymkhana this is seen as a "wow" thing that the drivers are able to throw the cars around narrow places.

A lot of tv coverage for Citroen :D

I know that they are bringing cars to the people. But are you sure that people are interested to see THIS?

Sorry but that was a stupid mistake, can't believe I wasted (again!) a pickem on him....hope Mikkelsen & Breen will fair better....how come Citroen want him full time next year & Breen and Lefebvre need to share a car. Craig needs to have that car full time alongside Mikkelsen & I don't know who else in that 3rd car...

Only thing organizers should be worried about is the time it tooks to get 1 car off from the super special stage...

I tweeted during Rally Finland how much better Harju is than the other street stages of the season. Well, you could have broken your car there as well...

It also took terribly long to clear the stage...

Anyway Meeke was running much cleaner than Mikkelsen.

As a ploy to get more people to watch the real thing it is pointless. The townies turn up and gawp but don't get the bug. 2 euro bus from town to a spectator arena stage would be a much better promo

So excuse the question since I do not know, does Meeke get the slowest time overall or the slowest WRC time? From what I recall its the slowest time overall.

Imagine if Ogier or Neuville 'did a Meeke'... could change the whole championship in such a ridiculous way...

It was my impression that Mikkelsen was throwing the car more, doesn't matter... :-)

Meeke will get a time of the fastest time + 10 minutes. Terrible organizing, no way should it take 15 minutes to get a car off the stage. Also poor by WRC+ for messing up the live timing in the broadcast...

Well yes, and Mikkelsen made mistake in first corner that could have cost some car-parts. That said I was reacting to the ridiculousness of pointing out 300m of a stage before crash.
