Neuville went hard on the brakes and stall the engine prior to jump...
Stage times stopped appearing on ewrc and rallybase after WRC2 runs....
Evans took over 2 mins. Rain getting heavier or running-in the new engine?
Ogier did a lot of mistakes... he doesn't feel comfy in a ford at all
Ogier leaving the lights off for that extra tenth in pace.

Juho Hanninen stage win today means Kris Meeke & Hayden Paddon are only main team drivers without 2017 stage win.

Poor Bibendum. he is smiling but it is bitter smile, because they refused to make selfie with him because of his body. :/
Ogier drove without the extra lights because of that text in Bulletin 1:Quote:

If prior to SS1y running it was still not autorised to use them after the mentioned decision, then everybody who used them on that stage must be penalised at Stewards' discretion!
If it was autorised later on, then we might start to think about the "conspiracy" of Ogier turning the lights off in order to gain some extra power  :D
Please, before writing subjective comments, first consult yourself with the official documents of the rally...
Strange to have this SS0 stage. TV coverage was very confusing. Despite all the drivers mentioning a second run it was never referenced on commentary. Everyone would come away thinking Ogier was leading the rally when in fact it was Hanninen.
Okay it is a nothing special stage, but that's still a live global TV broadcast and Toyota just lost a bit of PR there. How hard would it have been to just change the stage numbers to 1 and 2?
Will also be interesting to see whether that stage runs next year. Very long day for all involved on the rally.
Simmi, it was hard enough to change it because at the very last moment, they've decided to run it twice while everything on the itinerary was ready months before that for just one run.Quote:

On the other hand, I don't know who invented the "SS0" stuff since in the itinerary both stages were named SS1x and SS1y (not SS0 and SS1), no matter how strange was that too (SS1a and SS1b would be more understandable), but that's another topic...
the most useless stage i have ever seen, i hope it disappears and never comes back...and the atmosphere was nothing like it has been at Guanajuato city stage in previous years
Actually Breen belongs to that list too.
welcome to mexico...

ATTENTION! Road incident at carretera Mexico-Queretaro has caused that the bridesmaids carrying the WRC cars are detained

There is a delay of three hours and a few buses of the Guanajuato Mexico Rally WRC press is also detained

CAPUFE has unveiled a lane on the Mexico-Queretaro Highway, the route enabling Leon still is long for the WRC cars
google maps shows 5 hour drive to Leon from Mexico City and the stage is in 6 hours and some cars arent even out of the city according to wrc plus, example Ogier's
I can't be the only person who thought this might happen. Big risk to do those big logistical movements within the event.
I was looking weather forecast. There was also some light rain in some places aronud today stages. Today will be dry but relatively cold for Mexico only between +20 and +25 during the daytime :) And there is already slight chanche of rain today evening.
And there is big risk of heavy rain on Saturday. Maybe less arund Leon and warmer there (upo to +24 degrees) and cooler and more humid in the hills, where temperature might not rise above +18. So, something to mix up a few thigs :)
Stupidity at high level this laison. Imagine one accident with the truck :(
according to a guy in twitter the cars are 270km-s away from Leon, even less now so it seems they will make it just in time.
Really hope we don't lose one of the most meaningful stages of the championship (El Chocolate) for the sake of one of the worst in recent history.
Morning loop cancelled, ffs

That`s that then, SS2-3 cancelled. Someone said the cars were 130km from to service and moving...a small delay, but it would have been worth it.
What an epic fail.
Well, the teams liked this idea, probably many others too who could earn from it. Still sucks ofc.
I don't even have words for this, so goddamn angry at the moment
That is why we need a wall...
