I think SS5&6 will make some difference, this one was too short
Marco Tempestini retiring in service after SS4.
Two Fiestas R5 already out with engine problems...
from what reason Mirek?
thanks in advance.
I don't know. Tempestini was complaining about overheating before.
Consani did the stage 2 minutes faster than in first run - over 26 km!
anyone upthere could take close up pictures of tyres/spikes after SS finnish? interesting how 'narrow' tyres holds again 'fat' ones WRC type that ERC guys using... as local championship participants drives on narrow ones and lithuanian Rokas Kvaraciejus shows incredible times with his mitsubishi on 'narrow' tyres http://rallykurzeme.lv/?m=42&r=115
Kvaraciejus just posted picture of his tyre after SS4 - not that many spikes left - how can he drive that fast then?

He was running in completely different conditions than ERC front runners. On SS4 he wasn't that superfast.
Another Fiesta R5 in trouble - Jeets without power steering.
yes, when you see his tyres after ss4 :)
Another excellent time for Lappi, would Gryazin hold on?
Lappi takes full bonus points for first leg after he overtook Gryazhin now. Still fantastic performance from Gryazhin!
Lappi video - http://www.fiaerc.com/videogallery/d...23039%3BS-SHOW
Much better performance by Wiegand on the second loop.
Yeah, great drive for him today, I think he can hold 2nd tomorrow.Quote:

from twitter: " All engine cooling fan blades are left from inside..? Mysterious! No mechanical damage "(to the engine)
Just passed breen on last liasion. He was changing tyre at bus stop.
I think Skoda´ll go for a full ERC campaign with Lappi now, at least more than 6 rallies. If nothing extraordinary happens, he´ll win this rally.
Curious how 208 T16 will compete against Fabia S2000.
When You have time can You give us some impressions from today?Quote:

My impresdions - very bad draving by most, can't understand, why would you want to spend at least 50k€ for a top spec car and then drive so slow.
Lappi, Grjazin, Vorobjovs, Svilis, Wiegand were nice to watch, all the others, sorry, no fun at all...
Bouffier's unlucky stage: http://www.fiaerc.com/videogallery/deta ... S-MISTAKES
That was really unlucky end. When I compare for example with crashes of Novikov from NORF 2013 or 2012 after which the car was normally drivable...

Yes, really bad luck for Bouffy :(
That was incredibly unlucky for Bouffier, barely any visible damage on the car and such a slow impact.
What about Breen and Kajetanowicz? They were mostly ahead of Wiegand.Quote:

Kvaraciejus tyre after ss5 - starting after 50 or so cars its not much fun for stages run twice, loose gravel like in summer...

Yes, we can ad both of them, but not full commitment in all places I saw them.Quote:

You see the gaps, don't you?
Sure, Lappi obviously can do both ;)Quote:

That's what I thought, but I couldn't believe Citroen would design a car which couldn't withstand that?Quote:

Bouffier, was sure fast at first stage.
Kajetanowics: nothing special, smooth driving
Breen: too much sideways, almost hit a stump of a treee on ss3 end part.
Gryazin: fast!, pure driving lines.
Cerny and Immonen, both in their own class in ss2 end part 90degrees junction. Fast incoming speed and out.
I`m looking forward tomorrow starting stage!
