What a load of nonsense this whole case was. It should have received very little media coverage, but of course, because the "victim" was black and the "offender" from another race, then media had a field day with this. There are hundreds of cases of murders committed by blacks on other races each month (and far worse ones), yet no coverage for those. I wonder why.

Of course the verdict in the end was the correct one and it is good we have one less drugged up criminal in the world now, sadly one innocent guy had his life ruined forever because of media bias.

Except the crime rates did not go down, they just were not talked about. The crime rates in USSR were very high, but officially there was little crime committed. Reality was very different.

Your inference here of course is your impression of Trayvon Martin. How much lower can you go? The kid is dead, his parents and family are mourning the loss of a child and YOU characterize him as a savage. You are a sad indictment of too many in this land. Good that you are in the minority , bad that those that ARE/WERE good had to give up their lives to allow you and the neanderthal types to post as flagrant a racist comment full of poisonous invective language that you can't for a moment let go and show some form of decency if not for Trayvon, at least for his family.

Why is he dead? Because he was drugged up and attacked an innocent man, not expecting that man to be armed (thankfully he was). In addition to this he was supposedly a burglar and he very clearly was a racist. All in all, this boy was not an example of a good citizen, rather, he was your average crook. His death is no loss to society.

Toxicology reports indicate a man who had used some marijuana at some stage. Can you explain to me what level one must reach to be drugged up? What is the ration between blood levels and marijuana levels that lead to being drugged up? "Supposedly" a burglar? He was a "racist" unlike you of course. If Zimmerman was the biggest racist in Florida he is still not Guilty - YOu just don't get it. And even with our lame government wanting to charge a hate crime he is STiLL not guilty.
What part of Trayvon attacked Zimmerman are you not getting??? If you want to stop violence in this country you are going to have to use violence in the fatal order.

Where do you see racism in this thread? You are, as pointed out beforehand in this topic, one of those people who after the mentioning of serious problems regarding the black community, will cry racism and try to stop the debate. It is because of such behaviour the problems are not going anywhere and no solution is offered. When I say that the danger posed by young black males is alarming and high, I can back that up with facts. The crime rates are alarming and very worrying. That is not a racist thing to say. What is alarming and even more dangerous is that people try to stop the debate on that issue with their cries of racism, due to which the situation will not improve.

There is such a division in this on race and the use of force. The racists are here in abundance on this very thread. It is baffling to read their posts because of the narrow prism within which they view the world.
I don't know and will not bother to count the number of times I have read "you don't get it". Alas, I do. You and your plethora of lemmings have fallen hook line and sinker by a well constructed fairytale where a kid, high or not walking home from a store is accosted and threatened by a wannabe cop who was told/advised to let the police handle the situation went on anyway and got into a fight and killed a 17 year old. Then the kid is now a dead victim with a tarnished reputation.

I will list here countries where I believe the exact scenario taking place and (I would disregard the comments of some person bashing or whatever word was used to suggest) that Zimmerman, feared for his life. Any medical training or even seeing head injuries would tell you that there were no serious life threatening blows. Zimmerman played cop and killed a kid.
I will name a number of countries with the same scenario minus the gun and ask would Zimmerman be dead if this occurred in any European country or Asian that I list;

France,Spain, UK including Jersey Islands , Isle of Man and Northern Ireland. Republic of Ireland, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan.

Same scenario, same socio -economic standards. Why would we be the only country that any person would immediately point to if it were included in the list and the rest would have to be given careful consideration.

The answer is easy. It has two facets. Race and guns.

Our National Anthem has a line "Land of the free". It should be reconsidered.

The only reason Zimmerman went after Trayvon Martin is because he had a gun. There is a creepy premeditation in that. Something along the lines of I have a gun so I can approach him. Anything goes wrong...bam! It went wrong, and bam , Trayvon is dead.
