It's a bit sad to see today, even much less spectators being packed on the left bank and many guards staring thoroughly on the other, like an artificial border in the Middle East lolQuote:

Damn! Dani really wanted to win, his run was insanely on the limit... and that jump, holly sh/! :D The perfect example of the miracle that is rally suspensions nowadays.
Great stuff by Prokop! On the first two runs he was equally spectacular.
Same with Nasser on the first run and Neuville on the second.
Damn... missed most of the live coverage and it sounds like the jumps were spectacular ...
Had a look on YouTube but too soon yet for todays event but there was this from 2012 ...

I was there for the first time... and god. What an amazing atmosphere, I'm completely astonished on what I witnessed today. Only if this were "real" competitive stages...
I hope they bring the rally back here indeed. Amazing stuff.
Amazing Nasser, sliding all over the place! :)
next year the rally will be in Fafe
My video of Otsberg on the last run of the Rally Sprint at Pedra Sentada's jump.

It was long overdue, but I think they also chose it now because the several contracts made for Algarve expire this year, I think they make like 3 year contracts with all the entities and sponsors. So I guess they had to make a decision anyways for 2014, and these two editions of Fafe Rally Sprint gave some assurance that the crowd is at his best nowadays and organization is prepared for a switch. FIA's has also been more open to Rally organization strategies and longer stages lately, so this is all a gathering of a lot of positive factors.
Btw, IMO that Vodafone structure on the top of the hill was a good idea for this year. It fills a lot more the landscape on photos and videos and gives a nice point of reference for the jumps. Maybe it blocked some of the view for some fans out there next to it, but I think it helps the event's image.
One more video. Mikko doing the downhill at Confurco on the second run. Ostberg was the most spectacular driver there, it was a shame not having recorded it.
Certainly, yes. I moved around that side of the road, but it was impossible to see the gravel from most of places there. It used to be the best point to shoot photos (there isn't anything at the back). If we add the banner imitating Sweden's jump's ones, not anymore.Quote:

so did Sordo brake the record?
WOW. What an amazing atmosphere. Is there anywhere next week on rally Portugal we can expect an atmosphere anything like that???
Maybe next fraiday on the Special Stage at the end of the first leg in Lisbon.
A friend of mine forgot his camera bag (photo below) at a car park near the Pedra Sentada jump. His camera and many accesories were inside it. Any information is welcome.
