It has to be Pruett...Gordon and a different livery in 98 i believe....
Sorry i've been either lurking or too late to venture a guess at any of these but i'm still playing!!

yes, there are all kinds of things I have learned in this game - trying to research more photos is always the biggest challenge.....
speaking of learning thing - I got two AWESOME racing books for Christmas - one was the autobiography by Dr. Steve Olvey - one of the chief people behindthe CART medical team - very insightful and interesting... I am having a hard time judging if I want to take everything as fact he seems a little full of himself at times - but at other points he seems very down to earth..... a worthwhile read for any CART fan....
also, for those of you who have spent time at Rumbledrome - I got "King of the Boards" - the book by Gary Doyle about Jimmy Murphy and his era. Really cool - lots of pictures. According to my wife when you call to order the book you actually talk to Gary - she said he sounded a little disappointed that she was a racing fan's wife (an not an actual fan) so he couldn't really chew the fat with her too much :)
The Lights guys were Kane and da Matta.
Yes, I did, I added the track after finding that Moreno picture.Quote:

Gronholm went Down Under for Rally Australia. On October 23rd 2006, three days before the shakedown of the rally, some Ford PR wizz invited him to the Lexmark Indy 300. In these pictures the Finn is shown around the Newman/Hass Racing garage by Bruno Janqueira and Sebastien Bourdais.
Check out his face as he squeezes himself into the tight cockpit:
Yeah, I figured as much. My first thought was the 2005 Race of Champions in Paris where Bourdais demo'd the McD's Lola. I'll get back tomorrow with another pic.
Ok.
Guy Smith
2004 Rocketsports #17 Lola

And for bonus points, mention the original colour of the car.
Peter Revson 1971 at Indy in an orange McLaren M16?
Here's a color shot! :)Quote:

They did. Al Unser won the pole @ 170.221 in 1970Quote:

That year Cale Yarborough (Yes, the NASCAR driver) was 33rd fastest @ 178.864, so the pole winning speed in 1971 would not have qualified in 1972  :)
That's right! It's Revson works M16A. The 'hip radiator' and the single high-mounted rear-view mirror of this car looks odd.Quote:
