Why is "getting up early" an important point?
very professional answers and good backing of their driver....
This is rallying. If you're not waking up early, you're faking it.Quote:

One of the biggest car companies in Europe.... one the to be biggest manufactures (They're aiming for spot number 1) in the world!!! It's also great for the WRC as well don't you think?
are you sure?Quote:

i really can t find it enough ''professional answer''......
that answer covers the "backing their driver" part...
Jonkka, just joking. Thought it was an unusual thing to say in an interview.Quote:

Ogiers interview,which confirms Monte entry.Nice!
Sébastien Ogier:
So Ogier will do the entire WRC next year, mostly in a Fabia and maybe some in the Polo. He will be a great benchmark for the other VW juniors and everyone else driving S2000 too. I expect he could still pick up a fair few points next year.
Is Hanninen doing SWRC again? It would be great to have those two drivers head to head in the same car!
It will be interesting to see how fast Ogier can make the Fabia go, especially as it will probably a test mule for WRC-spec parts!
Hope not, illegal car otherwise.
Škoda can homologate Polo WRC parts for Fabia S2000. I don't say it will happen but this possibility exists.
Especially if take to consideration, that civil polo and fabia probably has 80% the same partsQuote:

And I guess the new 2013 Fabia will be on the new PQ25 platform ?
Probably yes but it doesn't really matter for rallying as Fabia III most probably won't exist in any variant close to Polo WRC.
So no chance for a Fabia R4T in 2013? If so does that mean goodbye to Skoda Motorsport
That would be too bad?
Don't get me wrong. R4T is supposed to be completely different thing than WRC, not like current S2000. It will be a car with stock bodyshell, no bodykit etc.
But we are off-topic...
It's very interesting topic. Let's separate it. What do you think?Quote:

Seemed to be an abundance of german employed drivers, bit of closed shop it would appear, more designed to accommodate the circuit racing drivers than their poor cousins the rally driversQuote:

Race of Champions is also not more what it was. And it has probably also to do with VW. Every car driven in competition was VAG supported I think?
