What a time by Sordo also! He seems to go for the victory
Well this is certainly entertaining me in the office on Friday. Crazy wrc morning and one that blows the title open! Its too unpredictable but an Ogier Loeb Hirvonen straight fight in the Welsh stages would be nice!!
Back to France and hello Mr.Sordo, welcome to the fight for the win! 2nd fastest on SS4 and now only 6.6sec cover to 3! Its on!
Ogier must now push....very exciting rally....despite Latvala and Loeb are out of contention.
So Loeb no restart?! This can make the championship even more exciting now. If Ogier wins and scores extra 3 points from the powerstage is right up there with Loeb. Same goes for Hirvonnen, he only needs 16 points and he is up there with Loeb.
Looking like this is going to be very exciting, Great time from Sordo!!
Ogier must watch his back from Petter and expecially from Sordo! If nobody retires or make mistakes, I think Ford can achieve only 4th & 5th place, but it's still the first day, and anything can happen!
It is also very interesting to see what Citroen will do for the drivers championship in Spain...if things remain as they are Ogier could be 1 point behind Loeb going into Spain...
I think Mini already has a position where Dani can push and Kris will be around to take up a podium if any of the 1st 3 break. Mikko just doesn't appear to have the speed and JML is going to have to set fastest times on most stages to get back into contention. Come on Mini!!!Quote:

Well, that´s no problem as we all know. The problem is the drivers not in the Citroen team, and what they can do.Quote:

So what's the Greek for schadenfreude?Quote:

+1 but Crugnola to get 2nd for my fantasy predictions! (edit -who appears to have disappeared!)Quote:

The championship is between Ogier and Loeb, if things go as they are. Citroen will employ team orders for GB to the one who is ahead after Spain.
This rally is has still too much life ahead so wait and see.
Still have to remember to finish first first you must finish.Quote:

Yes, but Mikko doesn't do that very often either. My point is that because there is still not very much competition at the moment then if the Citroens have problems then Mikko (or whoever) will really benefit big time because there is nobody else there to fill the gap. Imagine Ford pulled out next year but Stobart continued... then probably Henning and Wilslow could be "battling for the championship"Quote:

I just realized that if Ogier wins the rally and powerstage, he gets +28 points, then he has 195 points in total, Loeb has 196 points in total, when Mikko finishes the rally in fourth place (quite realistic) and maybe collects one point from the powerstage, then he has 194 points. So, then we have three drivers in 3 points.
its going to be a crazy finale in the UK.....If all stay on the road in spain.Quote:

True, but to be champion you must also deserve it and Hirvonen for sure don't ... and he wont win it either anyway.Quote:

Never say never and nothing is over before it is over.
There`s no potential in Campana, some good stage times on his home ground and that`s it.
Elfyn Evans finding his pace in the R2 Fiesta now, only being outpaced by Breen and Lemes of the Academy drivers.
Did anyone catch Hänninen's interview in WRR? Finnish forum is quoting him saying that it was one of those anti-cutting poles that pierced the puncture that forced him to stop on SS3 to change the tyre.
Again - I understand the purpose of anti-cutting poles but they're done wrong.
