After all this wait it better be something good and not just "Taken job with Black'n'Gold mini-cabs"
Just a thought - when he said he would have news today perhaps that referred to a Ford deal of some sort. And perhaps the delay has been caused by a new offer that came in this morning, the C4 deal.....
I think some teams are lowering the price
whatever happens, I must say Petter have been a champ in holding the cards tight to his chest! I guess nobody really knows anything, exept him! Nervewrecking to me and many others.. It could be anything! Ford, Citroen, Subaru, or nothing at all..
Yes,but it would gentle if he at least had postponed his announcement!!(If the things will not clear today...)
I guess there has been a misunderstanding from somebody, regarding to his announcement today! It would be a totally wrong time to bring this news today! Many big news in Norway today... Good and bad, and also a big athletes show/pricegiving. It would only be a little notice in the news today, but maybe if he wait until monday or tuesday it will be the headliner!
I've just got through to my mate, and he has NO idea why there is a delay. As far as he knows, Petter has decided who he's driving for this season, so he doesn't know why there is no announcement.

However with the delay, perhaps Petter has recieved a beter offer and is now considering that.
Is it away from someone if you tell us?! If you have knowledge no one gets hurted if you tell it. Only your ass gets burned if you are wrong. LolQuote:

Many things have changed since the Peugeot works time, I promise you.Quote:

hmmm.. if it's updated 307 it's worth to follow but if it's Subaru then Petter is eating about his own words (he is only driving for win).
Yes, but C4 it's easer to jump on its roof.Quote:

Oh it's going to be quickly forgotten all the bad things..
As a teaser I added some pictures (in the bottom of the post) of the 307WRC as it was on the test in Sweden in February 2008. Probably close to what it would be if Petter would drive!?! http://www.maxattack.net/2009/01/pet...ng-the-307wrc/
Petter losing to Henning? Where is this world going? Loooooool That's same as saying that Lewis Hamilton would loose to Adrian Sutil. Or that Grönholm is not driving Ford because he fears to compete against Henning Solberg.Quote:

When I said I thought it wasn't a car capable of wins, that is simply because it is a M2 car. Petter was meant to sign a one-year contract with Ford, driving in a deal similar to Hennings with his own sponsors for 8 events, missing Ireland, Spain and most likely Poland, although he may have to miss Norway instead if the deal isn't signed soon. He will pay for the drive, and have very limited testing (this may be the reason for any delay).
With regards to manufacturing points, I'm not sure where he is - as in if he will be nominated in any events. We'll have to see what happens.
I am now as much in the dark as to the delay as you. And just so you know, C4 from RallyBuzz has also recieved similar information about this planned press conference today so its not just me who got this info.
I never told you it's true :) Simple as that, guy, so just reeeelax. :DQuote:
