Amazing event !!!! :bounce:
And with a gap of 0.2s between the two leaders with three stages to go it was almost a record !!
Provisional Polish championship standings after the last round:
1. Bouffier - 55 pts
2. Kuchar - 32
3. Frycz - 32
4. Bebenek - 28
5. Kajetanowicz - 22
6. Solowow - 19
Tom206wrc: Which record do You mean? The fact that 0,3s was minimal WRC gap doesn't mean that there was no closer result anywhere else ;) 2001 Czech champ. Rally Cesky Krumlov was won by Emil Triner by more stage wins while his time was totaly same as of Tomas Hrdinka.
To Mirek: I think, you forget Rally Sumava Mogul 2005, where gap between winner and second was also 0,0 sec, but titbit was, that first and second were brothers :-) http://www.rally-vysledky.com/rallys...005/mcr/sumava
now it's interesting who will be chosen to drive in fiat (Alen?, Grzyb?)and peugeot (Bouffier? Kuchar?) for next year.
Why do you mention Grzyb and Kuchar? Maybe Lubiak will still be in Fiat and I really don't think that Alen will be satisfied in driving in Poland. I think he will choose IRC or PCWRC.
I thought it was Leszek Kuzaj who expressed hope to drive an S2000 next year(never heard about Tomasz Kuchar)
Personnally I really wished Piotr Adamus/Magdalena Zacharko to get the 207 drive :(
Tom: Kuzaj has a new 08 Impreza.
i would like to see Grzyb / Madej in a S 2000 car this year :) they made the suzuki fly in 2007 and he already tested a Polo S 2000 in November 2006 in Germany.
Well I think that Fiat isn't satisfied with Lubiak results. Grzyb is showing good performance this year and it seems that he could be good in A-group car. In interview he said he had sent his CV to Fiat but they chosen Lubiak. Kuchar is 2nd in championship, so I think both Fiat and Peugeot will be interested in him. I wonder also whether
Kuzaj stay in Subaru or try to change the car to S2000.
There was a chance to his start with S2000 on Barum...Quote:

its about ASN priority list, but yes, there are some rumours saying bouffier will be trying to defend the title
I hope he will drive again in Poland, because he shown polish drivers that they are not as good as they thaught. I hope next season will be different, but I can't see any driver capable of beeing faster than him. Only chance is for Kuzaj, but he likes green better than black ;) :D
i hope they drive Fiat S 2000 this year, so he will win the championship easy... :)Quote:

Kamil Butruk - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII
Kuzaj and Kuchar will continue to drive Subarus. Nobody knows anything about Peugeot and FIAT.
On a french forum I've read it was 99% sure polish championship again for Bryan Bouffier
One question. What about Holek plans about next season?Quote:

Holowczyc could drive Peugeot this year (there was an offer for him) but he wants to drive only gravel rallies. He's still very fast, but I think he could have problems with Polish top drivers on tarmac. The last tarmac rally he drove in 2001... And I'm glad to see Bouffier. I think the only drivers who could win with him are Kuzaj (in weaker car Impreza S14), and maybe Grzyb or Kosiuszko (both Punto S2000)
What kind of Peugeot for Holowczyc ??? A 207 S2000
No, 106 XSi... :eek:Quote:

Do they talk about 2008 season or is it just a summary of the 2007 season ???

By the way it looks like there will be S2000 at Rajd Magurski start february...

If I've understood well Malyszczycki will run in a Grande Punto at Magusrki but in a 207 from next round of championship
Your Polish is quite good, Tom :up:Quote:

Tom - no news about Bouffier nor Adamus :(
Anyway, soon should be published the entrylist of Rajd Magurski I suppose, so we would have an idea about who drives what in the 2008 polish championship ;)
Entry list for Magurski Rally. This not a final list, but from now it will be more expensive entry fee :) Final date is 18.01.
Sadly there are no official-polish Fiat and Peugeot teams :(

Nice entry list, how come Kosciuszko is in 207?
Yeah strange Kosziuszko in a 207, I thought he was driving a Grande Punto
When is Rajd Magurski 100% official entrylist published
It looks like Bryan Bouffier will be officially back after Rajd Magurski !! :D

Your Polish is becoming better and better Tom :up:Quote:

If you have the money, you can drive everything Tom. And Kosciuszko's father has lots of this stuff :)Quote:

After what he showed in the Suzuki S1600 and in the Grande Punto(on an austrian rally he finished 2nd overall after Stoh was excluded last year) :s
I would say he is somewhere in the middle between "Rally Superstar" and "Rich Ass" :D I definitely saw better drivers than Koci...
Oh no, I don't want to say that Kosciuszko doesn't have talent. He is a good driver of national level. But to be successful in ERC or JRC you need to have this little "extra". If I remember correctly he won Polish Super 1600 championship twice, beating experienced drivers, like Grzyb or Frycz, so for sure he has some potential. But for now I would agree with Karbonyl's opinion that Kosciuszko is somewhere between a rally star and a banana kid ;)
But let's not forget he is still learning and he's not even 25 years old so he still has time...

I'm sorry Karbonyl, but at the moment nobody knows anything about Fiat Polska plans...Quote:

Ah, and the most important thing - the news about Bryan Bouffier in 2008 Polish championship is official now!
They didn't say what car he will drive, but some sources say he will most probably sit behind the wheel of Peugeot 106 XSi prepared in group N :D
