Then there willl be all the mid-seaon entrys, considering for the last two rounds of the season we got 5 new entries.
I agree, better to see 2 of each car up there rather than all works BMWs and SEATs and Alfas sometimes challenging. The WTCC may have a couple more top names but the likes of Turks, Chilton, Howell and so on have yet to reach their best.Quote:

yea maybe hewont get lapped!!
He has never has a potentialy race winning car tho
As has been said before, Marsh has never had a good car underneath him. The Varta Honda was nothing short of a joke and the Peugeot wasn't the quickest of cars when it first hit the track - but did the job last season of getting sponsors on board for a full programme this year.Quote:

Completely agree they have as much chance as dynamics and vauxhall
Agree totally Marsh has a bit of a stigmatism as he has been down the back of the grid with poor cars, think its make or break time for him now thoQuote:

I agree. I would have thought Island would have more starters.Quote:

No confirmation of Oulton the Island yet. I really hope its Fosters. MN printed that list for the Clio Cup a few weeks ago - really hope its right by listing the Fosters for the BTCC
I prefer the Island circuit, there's good action at the hairpin.
If your want the Fosters circuit, then i'm sorry to inform you that it is not the Fosters circuit this year, but the the Island one that is being run.
On the btcc site, Brands and Rockingham haven't been confirmed (despite the fact that the Rockingham track has already been decided). But the Oulton Park circuit has been confirmed on the site as the Island one. And having tested there these past weeks, i'd be very upset if they then change the calander for this TOCA package. ;)

A 3rd Seat has been entered and a grid of 27 cars!
Where are the Xero and Encke cars and the second Arkas car? Also why is Nick Leason racing a Lexus for BTC racing when he's already been confirmed in an astra coupe? Great news to hear Murray and Jones are competing, and does anybody have any info on who's in line for the 3rd SEAT?
Fantastic news about the entry list!
-> 27 cars !!!!
-> Fiona is back !!!
-> third SEAT
-> will we see Dan Eaves this season ???
Is Rob Huff confirmed with Chevy in the WTCC? (i know it's probably already started but i don't follow it...) wishful thinking on the 3rd Seat :(
Yeah he's confirmed with Menu and Larini in the WTCC.
What a killer grid! I count 12 different body shapes in there...9 of which are S2000 spec. Plus 7 manufacturers and represented. Exciting stuff.
About 15 of those entries look capable of winning races.
Interesting - so they're not chasing the manufacturers' title but neither are they going for the indie title?Quote:

Didn't expect to see Encke or the 2nd Turk-Speed car to be honest, but surprised to see Xero absent from the list.
3rd seat is a surprise, rydell maybe
i guess that rumour about the 2nd arkas seat being too expensive may have been true, not even a tba, weird o'neill is supposed to have said he had a race drive sorted for 07, was expecting to see him there
great to see eoin on the entry list, hope hes doing the full year, great driver
weird change of plan from leason!
xero are team air cool with adam jones surely?
nice to see fiona back from another season, and the use of bio-ethanol again
I missed Eoin among all those names! :eek: Makes more sense for Leason to run with a team-mate in a reasonably competitive car rather than race the very long-in-the-tooth Astra. Team Air Cool = GR Asia?Quote:

VX racing vectra looks awesome!!
I would cream if that was announced :oQuote:

Good Surprises:
Eoin Murray - It'll be good to see him there on the gird
Adam Jones - Done okay last year and should be a consistent points challenger this year
Fiona Leggate, bio-ethanol & two MGs - Good to have Leggate back and in an MG as well.
3rd SEAT - surely only a part-time entry for perhaps later in the year when the championship gets tight?
Shocks:
Nick Leason - going to BTC Racing when he had confirmed the Daniels Motorsport Vauxhall Astra coupe.
Bad Surprises:
Xero Competition - after all the testing I would have thought they would be there. Hopefully they can sort something out before the season starts.
Guess things have changed as you haven't entered. Shame, was looking forward to seeing the Xero Lexus.Quote:
