Testing is all about finding the limits of what you've got & the decided where the changes need to be made to make the car better. Certainly he got issues with lack of motivation/fighting spirit which reflects poorly. But I think his speed is discredited too much on behalf of that, his sorry tarmac performance and technical issues.
In any case I find it very interesting to see what he will make of it now with the best car of the field. I think he'll be a strong runner-up.
