Australian Formula-xtreme results. Sat 27 March
Well……The opening round of the Australian Formula-xtreme series saw a blitz by Yamaha riders.
Kev Curtain won all three 1000cc races and had a first and second in the 600cc races.
Howzat …….5 races in a day plus practices and qualies.

Robbie Bugden on pole but the Kiwi enigma Andrew Stroud was close enough to bite his bum and only needs to finish 8th in the first race tomorrow to clinch the well deserved title.

Correction to the first results post
Kevin Curtain competed in 3 600cc races and 3 1000cc races on each day................total of 12 races.........amazing effort ..............Oh, by the way, he only won 11 of them (came 2nd in the first 600cc race).

Andrew Stroud does it again.
Not content to sit back and take it easy and still win the title, this amazing 42 year old father of 7 who rides for the love of it, went out and won both races today.
It is understood that his wife encourages him to get out of the house to reduce the likelihood of falling pregnant again.
Admirable performance..........(Also does a good job riding a motorcycle)

"Television coverage of the opening round of the 2010 YMF Loan Formula Xtreme Championship will be this Sunday on SBS from 1pm on Speedweek.
The telecast will be replayed again the following Wednesday on Fox Sports 3 at 10pm."
