Yeah, I can sympathise. We had to put our old mutt down a couple of years ago, after being with us since he was a puppy.
The LW is back with me now though.

I've not had a pet but my Grandad died once.....tbh I'd imagine that was probably a bit worse but it must be awful putting down a dog :(
