This is a smart move from Suzuki !
If/when the new WRC rules stating that a WRC car has to be based on a S2000 car will come intio effect - they will have a big advantage, and a lot of data to work from.
I am impressed, but thinks this has been part of the plan since they got the new thoughts of FIA, just before they finished the new SX4 WRC.
And it will be interessting to see what gearbox solution they are going for, and how their S2000 will match the other ones in speed, and reliability ?
For IRC this is a good day for more reasons:
Monte Carlo confirmed as an IRC event from 2009 !
Rally-Live.com will since loosing WRC, start focusing much more on IRC !
All in all, a good day for the S2000 fans !!!
It looks like Vitor Pascoal and Miguel Campos managed to get budget for 207 S2000 on the 2008 portuguese rallies championship :confused:
