Rich Millener already said the Puma wasnt suitable for a Rally2 Car. Plus Ford is making the Mk2 Puma EV-only so wont want an ICE rally car for years to come.Quote:

Fiestas are dead (for now at least). M-Sport will have to replace them soon if they intend on continuing Rally 2 involvement. Millener himself had stated that they were working in a Puma Rally 2. Since Ford has confirmed that they will bring back a B segment car in the near future, that platform could be the vehicle of choice.

On the Fiesta... they mentioned on RallyTV that it had some upgrades for Armstrong and Jurgensson. It would be interesting to know what they were and if they made the difference.
If so, M-Sport might get some good business from all their Fietsa Rally2 owners and might even get another competitive year out of it in 2026.
