Latvala is more talented that Duval because of his determination to win.Quote:

But this year I do think he "deserved" to win. There are at least 3 things which would have cost Loeb the title if rally ends like this:
1. No team orders on Sardinia => Latvala winning (-2 points for Mikko)
2. 2 Citroen junior drivers slowing up to 20 mins so that Loeb gets 2 points in Poland
3. "Clever" FIA decision to give just the "right" penalty to Citroen in Australia (specially compared with those windows on Fords before)
Sure it's small things, but they do add up.
McRae had speed and he could control it,,, sometimes.
If it was not for the Citroen team orders in spain, Hirvonen would have had a better chance of the championship.Quote:

For me all the drivers are, after all day, have similar driving abilty.
This is proved by shakedown. If the drivers keep pounding round and round, you will get Ogier setting a time on his 6th run, that matches Loeb.
Naturaly driving ability is 70%, the other 30% is in the driver head.
This is not measurable, and where Loeb has it over the other drivers.
Also remember Latvala's stupid crash in SSS of Poland which netted Seb 1 extra point.Quote:

And that does not have much impact on the championship because things like that are always happening.
