BTCC 2007 - rumours (merged)

A funny thing happened on the way to the fair.....

There I was, minding my own business, skipping gaily (err, I mean, walking in a butch manly fashion) along Surrey Street when I spies none other then Tom Onslow-Cole being photographed with his new Team RAC BMW outside Norwich Union's - the RAC's new owners - marble hall. When done, I had abried chat with him, complimented him on his season in the Clios last year, then has asked "So you support team RAC then?" "Well, err, actually last year I followed Team Dynamics"

half page article from Colin Neil of Clyde Valley in this morning's scottish daily record saying about how he will be running chevvy's in the BTCC and how he is looking for scottish business to come and join him. Hmmmm as TDB and others have said no cars, no transporter and no money. is this guy John B&Q in disguise... correction John B&Q actually went racing LOL

Perhaps he's only just sorted it out or it's a way of getting spnsors interested. But if TDB still says the opposite of what's in the paper than I'm going to agree with him as someone in motorsport knows more than a journalist.

well the pic that was put in the paper looks like one from Brands with the clyde valley logo photoshopped onto the windscreen. Just giving someone like Colin Neil free publicity really irks me when there is Scottish drivers like Jonathan Adam and Mickey Doyle that have been out there and are trying to get back again

of course Colin Neil could be getting new cars built by RML dont know where he is getting the money from

RML says thay sold 2 cars to a uk buyer but thats all thay have ever said and not given any clues ever .

i think untill the media day we will not know if he talking the .... or he realy did have it all sorted

Let's wait 'till TDB can tell us who bought those Chevrolets as he knows best and has contacts in RML :)

When did they sell them?

last year some time one was the old test car and one was a working show car .. well that what i was told buy a ex worker that left last year to go to honda f1 .. he was suprised no one know who got them .
