I hope Ogier wins and takes points off Loeb, no one can really be bothered if the championship is won with 3 rallies remaining like last year. In a year when Formula 1 had the closest finish in god knows how many years, it did make WRC look a little tame.

I am happy with Ogier winning, if he is the best and does it cleanly.

But for Loeb it must be hurting a lot to see that the new Seb is getting support from the boss to run an unfair game to take the top spot.

Would be interesting to have a beer with Petter to hear the real reason why he lost so much on day 3. Day 2 is understandable, but it seems also here that he looses more than he normally would, compared to Loebs pace starting as first on the road.

From the outside it seems like there is something fishy happening to the engine btw day 1 and 2 !!

Solberg is just a bit slower than the ford guys and a lot slower than the citroen guys...simple as that. I do not think Solberg would be that stupid to spend his millions on a downgraded car.... Plus the citroen team would benefit a lot more if they had the cars the same as last year since solberg would cut off points from the ford team.

I said about Wilson,not top privateers.Except if at top privateers you include Wilson.
Of course he is not going to win the top privateers in his first wrc drive without even testing.All top privateers at Acropolis had minimum 10-20 starts with wrc cars.
If he could manage a miracle something like that,Latvala,Hirvonen,Loeb,Ogier must be afraid for their seats.

The ss wins were 8-5 in favour of Wilson unfortunatelly..... and athanasoulas was also sower than some s2000 on some stages. Was a good drive but i would prefer to see him competing in a s2000 this year where the competition was stronger and we could judge him better.

But the bottom line is that he had fun and that's important since there are no future plans.

have you followed Solbergs times when his starting position was not ideal ?? Ogier, Loeb and Latvala all managed wins when starting from the front...solberg could not even hold a podium place....

And if he cannot do it now that the cars are as equal as they get...i see no improvement when new evolutions emerge.

I would like to see him win an event before he retires but it looks less likely as time passes.

Unfortunately for Wilson he beated from a guy in his first wrc drive without testing,while his previous drive was 2 years ago in a rented s2000.

From s2000 beated also at some stages Wilson,Henning,Kuipers,Merkestein,Ostberg,Kimi,Nov ikov.

While you undestant that he went for fun,why you measure stages against 5 yer plan drivers,or Ostberg with 30 rallies with wrc cars,Novikov in second year with wrc car etc?
Just for fun he was very fast and inside the road.Just watch the Saturday times,while he had drive for 1 stage in Friday.On Sunday he said that he is not going to take any risks cause he wanted to finish for sponsors.
Hope if next year will drive a wrc,to NOT measure him with Sebs.
