Next weekend's up for the final round of the Dutch Championship. Although the championship is already decided it will be an interesting rally to watch, as some of the leading Dutch drivers will enter wit the latest spec WRCars. Beside them most likely the Dutch debut of a Peugeot 207 S2000, driven by Dennis Kuipers and some drivers from Reinhard Klein's Slowly Sideways.
leading entries so far:
Van Eldik (Subaru Impreza WRC S12)
Van Merksteijn (Ford Focus RS WRC06)
De Winkel (Subaru Impreza WRC S12)
Kleinjan (Skoda Fabia WRC evo 2)
Wevers (Toyota Corolla WRC)
Kuipers (Subaru Impreza WRC S12)
Boers (Subaru Impreza WRC S7)
Mann (Subaru Impreza WRC 99)
Laarhuis (Subaru Impreza WRC 99)
Temmink (Toyota Corolla WRC)
Haverkate (Skoda Octavia WRC evo 3)
Entry list will be published at http://www.rallytiming.nl most likely a few hours before the start of the event on Saturday November 3rd. http://www.twenterally.nl is the official events website.
Other Dutch rallying news: Peter van Merksteijn’s VM Motorsport Team recently ordered a second 06 WRC Focus at M-Sport, expect arriving in January 2008.
Forgot to mention that Erik Wevers is back behind the wheel of his Corolla WRC as Irelands Eugene Donnelly will drive his Fabia WRCar.
Thanks for the info Huufke ;)
Wow! Sepp Haider? I remember him driving a red and white 306 Maxi in the late nineties. He was a good driver. Good luck to him!Quote:
