At least regarding bonfires....
They probably didn't do it, just claimed it.
Pretty much.
Canada was still very much a British colony at the time, administered by a Governer General who requested assistance from the British military to sack Washington in retaliation for the attack on York (the capital of Canada at the time).
But Canadian Bacon is really Canadian ain't it?
As far as I know. I really don't know what distinguishes a Canadian pig from others... :mark:
The accent maybe?
Eh?
Oh God schmenke is possessed by Jan.
That would explain why I've been feeling a little pinkish lately :p :

China's internet users put up with quite a bit of censorship but this time it appears authorities may have gone too far. The Government says it will force manufacturers to install software called Green Dam Youth Escort in all new computers that go on sale in China.
It works by not only tracking key words but also colour, leading to some bizarre effects. China's Southern Weekend newspaper tested the software with cartoon characters. Hello Kitty and the Japanese robo-cat Doraemon made it through, but not Garfield.
The South China Morning Post found that being pink and showing too much flesh was a key element, so photos of babies and pigs were also blocked.
You can not be found by the Chinese internet then... is that a bad thing?
