I don't think so. Stages 1 and 2 are mostly about suspension and big balls. Stage 3 is a lot about engine, S2000 has no chance there. Same applies to stage 4.

Kresta and Kostka are in the league of their own.
And in the family of their own :)
(Kostka is brother in law of Kresta)
Great onboard from the stage which gave a name to the rally: http://www.mediasport.cz/rally/onboardy/6342.html

Tlusťák off in second corner of the rally... http://www.mediasport.cz/rally/onboardy/6346.html
Masterpiece video, must watch!!!

It's onboard of Kostka from SS1 Kameňák. First half of stage is known from Barum rally as part of Troják. Apart from co-driver being quite lost You can see that DS3 looks too hard for the extreme bumpy Barum road.

few questions..
Tlusťák went off because of the ds3's setup too hard on the bump but in a very rugged way...I didn't understand from the video..did he crash on the tree or only on the high grass? Was the car reported to be affected by any issue after that?
Along the stage seems to me that on 6 gear he was on unsafe driving mode..he lifted off in various points...maybe the bumpy road vs harsh ds3 setting?
thanks
about Tlustak dont forget that he was with cold tyres.
About Kostka now we have to think that ds3 wrc havent set up properly for Czech type asphalt.
was this preparation for Polski for Kostka?
The car wasn't damaged except the front bumper I believe, it was just stuck. Later he was setting quite good times considering his skills. He is not a top driver but he knows these roads by heart as he lives there (just like half of top 10).
No other rally for Kostka this year due to his circuit contract. There is a small chance for Barum though.
Huge crash of Zdráhala

Was that a WRX originally? I assume the crew are ok? Looks like the shell did its job!
Yes, it was Impreza. The driver suffered broken leg and some other minor injuries.
Another nice onboards, this time from the other two stages which are extremely fast. Both roads are often used for Barum rally.
Kresta SS7 Raková http://www.mediasport.cz/rally/onboardy/6406.html
Kostka SS8 Hvozdná http://www.mediasport.cz/rally/onboardy/6399.html (You can compare with Kopecký with Fabia WRC from 2005 on the same stage, Kopecký was 8 seconds faster over the same part, Kostka had one more chicane there: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0x403XhcFw )

Good news. Hájek team Kadetts GT-E are back for Bohemia Historic show rally. Miroslav Janota (ERC Historic champion) and Petr Fulín (ETCC champion) will drive them :)
E.Lappi will drive with Fabia R5 test car as a zero car on Rally Bohemia by this article :

The list of modern cars is quite disappointing. Without Škoda taking there their crews it would be just ordinary national event. Bohemia used to be more. On the other hand I'm surprised to see Sandro Munari in Legend show! For spectators it definitely worth to stay for all cars as there are very fast drivers even in historics (Kalista for example) or in legends (Janota for example).
so no Lappi with R5 test car?
I havent told that it isnt true. I only wanted to note, how strange is journalism in these days - some magazines are writing informations from forums, other media take this info from first magazine and the circle is finished back in forum, where everything started ;)
Bohemia used to have quite a lot of money in the past and they paid many Scandinavian crews to come (at least I believe so). There were later several changes in the event leadership and also the financial situation got worse with all that mess in Czech rallying. It's not so long time a go when they tried for WRC or at least IRC. That was in time when IRC was strongest and Barum therefore as well. I don't think Barum popularity has any real impact on Bohemia situation. It's completely different part of country, completely different sponsors etc. I guess it has more to do with the overall bad situation in our rallying.
In the past, foreign drivers were going to Bohemia because they had good financial conditions from organiser, was persuaded by strong persons (like John Haugland) or the rally was part of some other championship (Polish championship, DRS, European Cup). This year Rally Bohemia is only part of Czech championship, no other series. I dont know if there is date clash with similar event in Norway or Denmark. Another problem is, that in other national championships there is less money than in the past and for crews is more difficult to go abroad.
I hope Czech fans are already organising themselves to be at stage start and ends at Bohemia to record Lappi's times? :)
Again very nice onboard of Pech: http://www.mediasport.cz/rally/onboardy/6458.html
Beautiful retro design for Škoda in Bohemia!

It s really nice design. i cant wait to see it live.If i understand well Wiegand will have also this livery on his Fabia.
Do we know if R5 test car will stay in white ( i hope for it) or it will have some colours?
Very nice, hope they keep it.
I doubt so. It's just for a celebration of 40 years of "RS" and that's the reason why they used colors of the very first one (200RS from 1974 - on the upper picture).
