Wow! It's a beautiful livery indeed!
One thing that I don't understand about Bonato is how can he win French championship and be so slow in the European Championship at the same time.
Because in France he is driving the same stages for years already, I would think.
One thing is with type of stages (in national championship you are usually doing same stages for every year and character of stages is similar on every race in that country, in ERC each rally is different) and most probably also level of competition (especially drivers who are able to be fast everywhere, not only at home). But also Yoann is able to be fast on some events.
It's much more common that a driver who is superfast at home fails to deliver abroad than vice versa.
Already 190 entries for the Rallye du Touquet(official entrylist in seeded order will be published on 11th march)

Question to the French rally fans. Would like to do one tarmac and one gravel rally this year. Distance wise Terre du Langres and Rallye Vosges - Grand-Est would be my pick. But especially withe Langres I feel like I would be better off going further south? Are these 2 nice enough or should I look at other rallies?
In my opinion there are nicer rallies than Langres, but they are also way further south.
Just think twice if you will really enjoy driving French gravel event - only one recce pass and in the rally car. For me those rallies are great, teach French drivers doing good pacenote, but for many gentleman drivers this was an issue preventing them from fully enjoying the event.
I can only recommend the French Gravel rallies. As a competitor and as a spectator. I really like Langres, it aren't the most beautifull stages, but it's always a lot of fun. Certainly if you have a cup there (Clio or Stellantis). This year, the Clio's will be there and with 33 cars for the first round, it seems to be a success :)
Also, it's like holliday going there. The rally starts around noon and the weather is mostly nice.
For asphalt I've neither participated nor spectated in Vosges, but must be a good rally with nice stages. Stellantis Cup is going there.
If you want to know anything more, contact me in DM :)
My bad, "do" should have been "visit" haha, sorry about that.
Thanks Dupanton, I will!
Nikolay Gryazin Announced At Dévoluy!
It's a list of madness preparing for the next National Rally of Dévoluy! Indeed the information has just been confirmed this morning and it is Nikolay Gryazin who is announced at the start of the Rally with the brand new Skoda Fabia Rally 2.
He will naturally be present to prepare for the future Monté Carlo 2023. Moreover, the organizers are not making a secret of it!
In fact it is the TokSport team which will be present because in addition, Sami Pajari should also be there in view of the publication.

Great news for the French tarmac championship, Hugo Margaillan will be back next year, still with CHL and Citroën support !
He did a very good first season. Started a bit far of the bests in Touquet, but really improved a lot. I'm sure he can win his first round next season.
Margaillan had Citroen support as he won the Stellantis Cup in 2021.
Next year, Leo Rossel will also have the same backing as 2022 Stellantis champion
For the 2023 french tarmac championship, Nicolas Ciamin will switch from Hyundaï to VW(car of Sarrazin team) ;)
Needs to be confirmed, but it looks like Eric Camilli is back, this time in french tarmac championship too, and in a Citroën C3 Rally2
Yesterday and today is running the Finale de la Coupe de France 2022 in Béthune, northern(postponed to early 2023), and Thomas Chauffray(Skoda)is about to win it(in front of Jérémi Ancian, VW Polo) ;)
2023 Rallye du Touquet is next week :)

The first rally he took part with the Opel, was in Hungary last month and he won the Rally4 class ahead of all the Peugeot Cup drivers ;)
Let's see if he can do this again with the "french Stellantis Cup" drivers :D
Yoann Bonato just won the Rallye d'Antibes yesterday ;)
Incredible Raphaël Astier in the Alpine, he almost finished on the overall podium(ahead of Léo Rossel and Ciamin)
Overall the rally was quite rainy and wet, and many problems in the choice of tyres :s
With two stages left to go, Brit Ollie Mellors in his Proton Satria is about to win the Rallye national de Fourmies en Avesnois(northern France) ;)

Many news for 2024 french championship!! :D
The most surprising is Sarrazin Motorsport which switch from VW Polo to Ford Fiesta Rally2(in partnership with M-Sport)and three cars will run on tarmac championship with Jean-Baptiste Franceschi, Sarah Rumeaux and Réhane Gany
In the same time, Sarah will run the entire gravel championship with the Fiesta too, as she wants to improve on this type of terrain ;)
The most recent news is Yoann Bonato, tarmac champion, who had to switch from CHL Sport Auto to a total new team, Trajectus Motorsport, created by the 24H of Le Mans triple winner Benoît Tréluyer :)
Tréluyer is good friend to Bonato, but the main reason the new team accepted to enter rally world was because Citroën Racing gave them the "green light" and will give the the latest spec. C3 Rally2 ;)
Note CHL Sport Auto should also engage one or two Hyundaï Rally2 in the tarmac championship...
Despite having lost the "WRC2 market"(to belgian DG Motorsport), PH Sport will have four C3 Rally2 on tarmac championship this year, for Léo Rossel, Anthony Fotia(winner of the 2023 Stellantis Cup), Swiss Jonathan Hirschi and Olivier Giroux...
Rumours about Hugo Margaillan in the CHL Sport Auto Hyundaï and Eric Camilli in the same car but with 2C Compétition...

Interesting, Thierry Neuville's nephew(Tom Heindrichs)will drive his Opel Corsa Rally4 next month at Rallye du Touquet(maybe in the french Stellantis cup) ;)
Official entrylist Rallye du Touquet :D
