I was contemplating using this name as a question, so I know what this particular city is known as, to people in the west. So I was goingl sit back and let others have a go first, but since my friend BleAivano has already pointed out that we know it (incorrectly) as Bangkok, I will submit that as far as I can remember its' population is about 6.5 million

Maybe my memory is a bit fuzzy, so instead of 6.5 million, I will guess at 5.5 million
