Hats off for Ogier, his learning curve has been really fast so far - That I agree.
However, JML's problems in Greece with turbo and front differential had nothing to do with his driving style. Saving the car (more) would mean JML putting similar times to Mikko. And if car is not realiable it could still brake down. If I were in JML's shoes I would continue setting top times and braking down my car now and then. Slowing down and driving steady 3rd places would end his WRC career in two years.
Hänninen now leads both IRC and SWRC.
just got back from the event...
I must be honest and say that for me it was an event that i will soon forget...too many ups and downs and thank god i had good company oterwise it would be better to stay home...
pictures in 2-3 hours
Ogier and Loeb on every stage i was were among the fastest all the time.....the ford drivers seemed inconsistent....in some they were fast and in others dissapointing... Great times by Novikov and was the most spectacular of all i must say, ogier was hell fast everywhere....a true star. The s2000 were very fast as well...was very hard to tell who was faster than the other from the top crews (apart from hanninen)
Ogier is closing fast on Loeb...
The best rally of the season comes up and a chance for ford to claim something after a long long time.
There has been already one guy like JML, Duval. Did you hear how is he doing now?Quote:

At Kefalari 1 Henning had a big moment in front of me,which left me half bumper of his Fiesta. Was very lucky he managed to come back in ss without major problems.
I liked Ogiers aggresive driving, tottaly different from Loebs. Also Latvala very nice but not at all ss i saw.
Congrats to Loeb for his effort to fight for the rally at last stage while was cleaning the road for 2 days, and some ''dissapeared'' splits from his team mate.
This guy is really amazing
Very nice driving by Athanasoulas, couldn t think that he could be so fast against second class drivers out of the box,and without tests.
Also liked Nassers driving, was clear fastest at stages i watched. Also much better suspension work the fiesta from skoda in rough gravel.
also Novikov today was from another planet, clearly very wide from side to side.
Wilson was as always slower than replay. This guy must really stop to ridicule himself. Was beaten clearly from a guy in his first wrc car attempt, while he had 2 years to drive, and without any test......
