San Martino di Castrozza after fifth stage: as I announced currently in the lead Chentre, second is Re (a great result for Citroën), Silva with almost a minute delay is on a third position. Big problems for Porro (turbo failure), Batagalin OUT !!

Something happened in the last SS ... Felice Re retired (he was less than 20 sec from the first place), and also Chentre lost a lot of time, but he won same way.
Zannier also retired after some impressive times in the slow S1600 :'
Slow S1600???
Well if you compare it to the other cars present ^^ such as WRC (Xsara, Focus) and S2000 (Pug, Abarth). Or not ?
Its a very fast car, just the others are faster ;)
At the end it's all about the driver
Suzuki S1600 is a great car .... if you compare it to the others of the same category xD !Quote:

Loeb was competitive with S1600 on du Var last year against gentleman WRCs ;)
Btw Zannier drove a Suzuki? I'm on mobile internet so I have limited info

Given the final rank-last SS was a place of drama-Felice Re had to resign because of brake problems, Chentre had a tyre puncture, lost one minute and almost lost a win to Silva. In response to repeated brake problems on Re's Xsara, I think F.Re will have a serious meeting with responsible in TAM-AUTO team, as seems he will loose the fight for the title this year because of repeated brake problems.
Yep,the seemmingly perfect Xsara tends to let down Re on the last stage quite often
