As far as I know no S2000 car had less than 1150 kg on tarmac rallys so nothing changes...
Why have they done this? Bad news IMO as it will make the cars less agile.
It won't really help anyone as the teams will still spend money on weight saving - then any spare they can put in as ballast in all the right places.
RS: As I wrote before, that change will have no effect on cars because they all are even heavier than new limit. They just realized that old limit was unrealistic in terms of S2000 rulles.
