Mikkelsen retired last year in Portugal and Sardegna due to engine failures. In both cases, the issue appeared to relate to the car ingesting sand after which it lost a cylinder and misfired. Also, in Sardegna and Portugal Kremer too retired due to engine failures. He also had the Fabia evo.Quote:

It says something of the massive success of the Wrc2 class, when a driver can be competitive in a 2017 model car, that has done 40 rallies. It is of course well maintained, but still.
The Fabia R5 is still a very good car, and som drivers still prefer them to the Fabia Evo. That is also why they keep their value better than most RC2 cars!
