Agree 100% but I was too modest to explain that in words above...(10:49) :o
I agree also 100% wat "N.O.T" say. :-) .... :D
with respect you are all wrong IMHO, road position and its +'s and -'s, tyre choice and keeping it betwwen the ditches are all part of rally, some did it much better than others this morning. No one would claim it to be a representation of who is the fastest driver/car combo in perfect conditions, but it is an accurate representation of who did their job best this morning.
Also how the heck can Bluford tell us yesterday what the teams couldnt figure this morning, respect to you sir, and I think you are overly modest about your meteorological knowledge, in my time on this forum you have made many accurate weather predictions and I cant remember you making any real blunders yet?
+110%
There's the usual miserable old gits ( :) ) moaning and whining. Yes it's a lottery with tyres and weather but cars still have to be driven. Hat off to all the drivers.
And +110% to BF, proper weather forecaster.
Re: Rallye Monte Carlo 2014
Bryan Bouffier (Ford Fiesta - M Sport, leader in mid-day): "We had two snow tires embedded in the trunk. I had a lot of information ... Still, I was surprised to see snow on the first stage. Slick tires, it was super easy to get out of the road but it was quite regular. For the 3rd special was mounted two snow tires. But do not burn, and it must stay focused. It was only fifty kilometers of special and there is still a big chunk. In the afternoon, the choice will still be tricky. There was rain, but the snow is not very far anyway. It will probably rain-snow mix. I hope to stay in this position until at least tonight and beyond. "

Have You followed Jänner? Kubica won last stage by a huge margin without any snow when he was on snow tyres with two studded. There was a lot of water and mud. With no proper rain tyres the slicks are not that good in wet...

Re: Rallye Monte Carlo 2014
According to Pluto first half of SS4 is mostly slush and wet ice, than few kilometers of snow and second half mostly only wet but muddy. SS5 wet and muddy.
