I think the top organization is the same but the locals make the route etc.

but Lappi is smashing it atm at the shakedown
way faster than others
If Lappi's time is correct...wow
What the hell did Lappi eat for the breakfast? I really haven't seen anything like this in the past when conditions are pretty much equal...
Lappi pushing hard, while maybe the others (Ott, Neuville, Evans) already know the level of pushing...?
Well I don't have as good overview of the route as AnttiL, but my impression is that shakedown is more technical and slow than most of the rally and with the conditions (soft ground and hard barriers) it is mostly about who bounces off the barriers more/better.
Guys it's shakedown

Suninen faster than Olvier on 2nd pass
Lappi and Katsuta seem to have picked a trick or two from their warm up last week.
If they can keep up this pace, I will humbly eat my own words prior to this event :)
With Kalle sweeping the stages and Thierry still feeling ill, then it's important for Ott to take full advantage tomorrow. Even if some others are fast here, these are his two main championship competitors.
A few photos from the shakedown. Nice surprise to meet my finnish friends :)

Is there any ice on the roads or is it just packed snow? If it's just snow, Kalle won't be happy tomorrow..

Good pace by Virves considering its his first outing with the car, last year i think he made 1 outing with Hyundai R5 in Estonia, but thats all.
BTW, 15 cars with official OBC for live coverage.
9 Rally 1 and 6 Rally2 cars - Solberg, Vieby, Lindholm, Suninen, Huttunen and Linnamae.
The stages are very fast and snowbanks are hard... keeping the bodywork in one piece will be hard, but very important this time.

Really positive shakedown for Rally Sweden the car is feeling great, bring on the rally ! 🤩
I've been hyper critical of Msports /the Puma's reliability, but does anyone also think the car doesn't look right, or look that driveable? Maybe it'll take a few events for Tanak to find the optimal setups with a few upgrades.
It's something I noticed pre Monte, during Monte and even in Sweden tests. I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable as some on here about the actual dynamics of a car, and gauging through the 'eye test' can be a hit or a miss, but the car doesn't seem that well planted and it looks like it rolls a fair bit? Whereas that Yaris is absolutely glued to road.
*watch Tanak go and dominate the rally and win with ease now :)
Looking at Puma I mostly think of Focus 06-08. That car looked extremely sluggish and "slow". Yet it was just driving on rails and arguably was the best car of the period.
Yaris always looks more reactive, while still stable. Like a go-cart.
I20 seems to change from reactive to sluggish every other corner.

I´m not able to lock the thread at correct time tonight, but obviously those who did come in late (after 1900) will not be counted.

Might be a rally full of surprises with those hard snow walls and narrow roads combined with the relative fragility of rally 1 body parts.
Neuville already crash on the start ramp! :P
Ott says the ice is already broken
Lappi touching bank with front end
Seems it was actually best to be first on the road.
Lappi all over the place
Unless there's loose snow on the surface, starting first is probably the best. Same reason why Tidemand was fastest overall in the Fabia R5 some years ago when he was first on the SSS.
