WRC is fine more or less, WRC2 is not needed.
Did Ogier disable his GPS again ? LOL
I see him moving on wrc+ maps
WRC 2
If it is going to be made in to a real series, and especially a real feeder series, it has to take in account the cost side.
WRC 2 has great potential, as we especially saw in Sweden, and we know how many R5s there are out there.
So we now there is a lot of R5s, and we now there is a lot of young talent - so how combine the two in to a real WRC 2 championship?
In my belief cost and logistics are the two main important things. The third thing is to decide if it is going to be mainly factory backed, or if it also can be run with privateer teams (Im talking of fighting for wins.)
Regarding cost, there are two things (there are more, but these are the first two things to spring to mind) that can, and I say CAN be done:
- Make it Europe only. Because the fly aways present a logistical cost that only the very rich can handle.
- Take away the friday. So its only two days. Because running that many kilometres in one weekend is to much for most teams, and even most drivers. And it would cut cost and logistics down a whole lot.
But this is off topic :)
Latvala in troubles.:-o
off so it seems. go paddon!
SS14: Latvala - WRC tracking system shows Latvala stopped. He went off at the 21km point. #WRC
cant believe that its an off.....oh my God...
A Hyundai in the lead, virtually...

where you find your splits? i want too :)
Time for papa Latvala to put the hand in his pocket for his incompetent son once more i guess...
with 55 km stages for Sunday and 34 sec difference from Ogier, seems that its time for Paddons first win. Well deserved of course.
Well that is unfortunate but still a long way to go!!
N.O.T: Is there anyone at all who you consider to be competent?:-D
I have no personal affection for Ostberg. The reasons I defend him are:
1. He's in a non-factory team against the might and money of VW, Hyundai
2. His car is therefore the oldest & least developed
3. He has no proper team-mate to help score points
4. He has shown speed and some good results in the recent past for Ford & Citroen
5. He's a consistent points scorer and experienced in WRC (that's why he's at M-Sport)
Yeah, Latvala seems to give it to Paddon. I wouldn't mind....
Meh, JML will you ever learn?
Mixed feelings, but how awesome would a Paddon win be!?
Noooo Latvala... not again. :(
A win for Hyundai would be great for the WRC!
The strange thing is seems Paddon gave up the fight on this stage before Latvala offs.
Pitty Paddon is not nominated. I would prefer the old system: first 2 cars of manufactures score points.
Wonder if Sordo will try to catch Mikkelsen?
70kms to go.... can Paddon do it ?
Tough situation for me.. like Paddon, hate Hyundai...
SS14: NEUVILLE
