Gutted for Bouffier !!! ;(
Go Jan ?erný go!!! :D
Really disappointing for Bouffier but presumably he will get a refund from PH Sport so he can run a different event instead.
Yes, but the chicken man can be disappointed :(Quote:

I guess the second loop will give us more realistic times, but good job by Gryazin nonetheless!
Since Bryan usually searches for every single Euro to start I don't think he has money to just drive around...Quote:

Great VIDEO review of the qualifying stage and Rally Liepaja opening + leading drivers comments http://www.tv3play.lv/play/353639?autostart=true
Thanks! Gryazhin saying he has top speed only 164 km/h. The more great his performance is!
“I have never seen anything like that,” said Breen, who was third quickest on the stage and holds the final podium spot in the overall standings, 3.3s down on second-placed Lappi and 26.3s behind Gryazin. “You get into a rhythm and then the car throws you off. It is such deep snow, it is really difficult.”
Sounds like the snow came after all.. :bounce:

Sounds a bit ominous for Gryazin... :(
"Sometimes we don’t have 5th gear & now on road section coming to service 2nd gear has a strange sound.. ”
The thing is that , even tho we had a great snowfall/storm this night, usually in Liepaja itself there allways is much less snow than ~30-50 km inland. That's becouse the town lies by the sea but ~30-50 km deeper inland the land level rises ~100m above sea level, so that's where usually the "deep" snow comes.
Indeed! Lappi tweeting a pic with the of road surface on SS3 :Quote:

Gryazhin takes another 10 seconds from Lappi!
Bouffier was no normal technical failure, but impact which damaged his radiator - so probably no other rally "sponsored" by ph sport.
EDIT: And Breen seems to have lost his confidence somewhere in 2013 ...
Gryazin very impressive drive so far. Though he´s "pushing hard".
Rokland and Kristiansen on SS3!
Did you guys see that? Steve Rřkland from Norway driving Ford Fiesta R2 was third on SS3. This rally is full of surprises and I like it!
Damn it! Rokland has just been overtaken by Peter Kristiansen and his Skoda Fabia R2!
Insane pace from some of the R2 crews. Has anyone told them that they are 2WD and shouldn't be faster than 4WD on snow ? :D
Do you call it realistic times?! :DQuote:

Körge probably out - mechanical problems.
Fast roads only gravel and supposly no juctions, means they can go as fast they do.Quote:

Btw, glamour girl Inessa Tushkanova faster than both Tempestini's for the third straight time.
Lappi fastest so far on SS4, but let's wait for the crazy R2 drivers ;)
Better time on SS4 ...Quote:

I think all those 2wd times are 1 or 2min too good.
no snow - no studs - no grip
Those times are real. The problem is that yesterday there was no snow and the ground was frozen to bone but during the night quite a lot of snow fell. Now it's very hard bottom surface with a lot of loose snow on top. First cars are plowing and those running far behind are driving on frozen gravel.Quote:
