What is significant about the Northwest Angle?
Is there more than one Northwest Angle?
I know there's one close to my neck of the woods. It's the border between Canada and the US and goes thru Lake of the Woods. Other than that, I don't know what's significant about it.
Yes, that's the one. However, what's significant (in a geographical sense) about it?
it's not North West ? :p
Besides that :arrows:
**** you Canucks and your freakin' 49th parallel!

With a latitude of 49°23'04.1 The Northwest Angle represents the northern most point in the lower 48 U.S. states.
Also, interstingly, the area is an enclave, with no land access to the U.S. mainland.

The USA should cede the Northwest Angle & Point Roberts to Canada.
In return, we can give them Quebec.
Bump...

We have been posting about it in the Word Games Forums.
I am not good at setting questions, but for the fun purposes of getting it off the ground I will post a question.
Don't remember exactly what the rules were, but I assume its about people trying to be honest and posting there answer if they can without looking it up.
Anyway not an in depth question to start with.
Who's Flag is this

A country of Central America?
Nope. Guess again. :D
p.s I haven't posted much here in the past. Tell me if I am getting the rules wrong. :)
In the first post the rules are stated asQuote:

The rules of this game are:
- The forumer who answers a question correctly asks the next one,
- No boobling!
As simple as that. :)

OK.
The flag is Equatorial Guinea. A country on the West coast of Africa. As far as I can remember it was a Spanish colony until the 60's and was known as Spanish Guinea.
Correct. Take it away Anfield.
still thinking about flags. There are two countries with identical national flags, who are they?
Definitely one is Romania but I can't remember the second.
Definitely not Moldova who has the same "tricolor" but with an emblem on the middle.
If Gadjo is correct, is it Romania and Chad.
Poland and Monaco?
Very similar but not the same (they are mirrored).Quote:

Correct Steve. Monaco and Indonesia have the same colour design - red over white (Poland is white over red), but the flags are a different shape.Quote:

A simple process of working down the list.
Which Country has the Worlds 7th Largest Population?
(Based on UN estimates) No peaking, just work through. The first 5 I would say are logical. So can you work out the 7th?
Monaco and Indonesia are also almost identical to the Flag of Hesse.Quote:

Your turn. :)
What capital city is at the highest altitude?
A good candidate would be Quito in Ecuador.Quote:
