Of course we all feel this way but the car wont pay for itself so someone has to come with the big buck.Quote:

We're leaving today, skipping the shakedown unfortunately, but really looking forward to the rally!
On certain rounds of this year's WRC, the crews are permitted 10 tyres which can be used in exceptional conditions. This move was prompted by heavy rain during last year's Rally Australia, when the crews were forced to run on unsuitable hard-compound covers.
Going into this week's Rally Portugal, the drivers will have 40 'hard' Michelin Latitude Cross tyres, with 10 softer tyres available if the rain does arrive in the Algarve.
From Kevin Abbring's Facebook page:
It unfortunately wasn't a regular and easy recce for me this time. I apparently picked up a virus on the way towards Portugal. After spending over 7 hours in the hospital on monday evening after recce day one everything is improving now. I'm in very good medical hands here. Nothing to worry about anymore and nothing I could do about it. Hopefully it's gone soon so we can focus 100% on the rally. Like I said, it starts to get better. Let's see what happens on the shakedown. (12:00 local time) Thanks
Free practice 2 : Latvala 3'04"1 - Solberg 3'05"2 - Tanak 3'06"7 - Loeb 3'07"0 - Hirvonen 3'09"7 - Novikov 3'10"3 - Neuville 3'10"6

This is what happens when you allow every baboon to the top of the sport...
If Nobre has a serious accident sometime and he injures someone or himself then everybody are going to act like crybaby little girls and try and find excuses and point fingers everywhere... lets hope that thing never happens but with the rate this clown with sunglasses visits the scenery its a matter of when rather than If...
but hey some people want to see more WRCs on the stages driven by nobodies...we cannot spoil then fun for them.
Can someone inform about fastest times in P3 drivers?
again only for NOT

I agree with you on many of your comments that others consider to be OTT, but I really can't see your point here. Throughout the history of the WRC there have been others just like Nobre, and that in some way is the beauty of the sport, there is a mixture of talent and wealth levels. If you make the championship open only to those who are in the elite driving skill group who have the financial backing also, there would be about 6 drivers involved.Quote:
