Just a quick reminder to to UK and other fans:

This weekend marks ESPN’s Free Weekend beginning at 06:00hrs on Friday 4 March and running until 06:00hrs on Monday 7 March.

It will make ESPN, ESPN HD, ESPN America and ESPN America HD available to all Sky, Virgin Media and TalkTalk viewers in the UK, and to all UPC and Sky viewers in the Republic of Ireland.

well, of course you cant compare surfaces, and it hasn´t been snowing in Mexico lately what I can recall.

But still the roller bearing surface in Mexico is one of the most difficult to be number one in.

With this results in 2010 Mikko finished 4th in 2010 1min 47 sec slower...If you expect to finish 3rd with 1 minute back,yes it is not so bad....

its a different stage.....the second one is exactly the same so conclusions will be safer about the pace of mikko...

The reason Ostberg began the stage 8 minutes later was because of spectators:

"Mads Ostberg was eight minutes late starting the stage in his M-Sport Sobart Fiesta while spectators relocated to designated safety zones." From wrc.com.

I wouldn’t be too worried about the speed of the Fords but if that continues during the second run of these stages, then it’s time to start to worry.

As you can see if this year Mikko finished 3rd there is no progress.Also don t confuse Markus with Mikko.Different breed at all.

Ostberg stopped, maybe puncture ?

Henning says he does not know how to drive this car on gravel yet. To bad one have to pay this kind of money, and not get real testing, but having to use the rally itself to get to know the car.

My theory/logic why the C4 was better is that the C4 IMO used about 1000 rpm higher revs than the Focus. With higher revs the C4 didn’t had to “breath” the same amount of air true the restrictor as the Focus.

Maybe Citroen found some good solution where the torque was still high enough to give better power than the Focus had which restrictor choked already on low revs.
