Pieter Tsjoen will not enter the French tarmac championship this season, but will sell his Focus WRC and buy a Super 2000 instead for a mixed Belgian/IRC program.

padWRC, where did you get information about Elwis Chentre driving Impreza WRC. I'm asking, becuse he couldn't get enough money to start Italian Championship(CIR) with evo9 N4-and suddenly he will drive a WRC car in TRA???

Chentre is from Valle d'Aosta, so it looks like it will be a one-off with a WRCar in his home event - I guess he's going to do other CIR events with Vieffe Corse's C2-R2 later in the season.

The first round of the Dutch championship 2007, the Tank S Rally, is ended. On the last stage Jasper van de Heuvel (Mitsubishi Lancer WRC) overtook Mark van Eldik (Subaru Impreza WRC).

The Rallye Oberland, the first round of the German championship 'ADAC Rallye Masters' is ended. Anton Werner won in his Porsche 911 GT3 before Hermann Gassner. The different between them was only 2"3. Third was the Hungarian driver Tibor Erdi jr. with a Toyota Corolla WRC.

Vovos Won the first round of the greek rally championship in a very boring rally....none was even close to him. Things on tarmac will be more interesting...next round is on 21st of April a 2 day mixed surface event (1 day gravel, 1 day tarmac).

Great Tank S Rally this weekend. Nice fight in the top of the rally and other classes with a very tough last stage, most of the drivers had slicks and it was raining really hard. That's why Vd Heuvel was 1 minute faster then van Eldik!

What a comeback by Van den Heuvel!

Very encouraging for Dutch rallying are the performances of Peter van Merksteijn jr. and Hans Weijs jr. fighting for the Group N lead, and the win of Kevin Abbring in the Mitsubishi Colt Cup in his first rally as a driver. Several young drivers knocking on the door, but family relations seem very important in Dutch rallying if you want to get to the top... ;)

In the latest press release of the organizers the following participants in WRCars are mentioned: Silvano Luciani (206 WRC), Manuel Sossella (Focus WRC), Marco Paccagnella (Corolla WRC) and Giampaolo Tosi (Focus WRC). No mention of Zanchi or Gimondi :(

Yep, they will compete only on tarmac. The car is silver-red as in the previous years and the car will be prepared by TRT Hungary. I think you'll find some pictures soon.

3 rounds in the IRC (Ypres, Barum and San Remo), 2 rounds in the Hungarian Championship (Miskolc and Zemplén).
