I haven't heard something about this rumour. He is not Dutch, but Belgian.
Normally his first real rally of the season is the TAC Rally in the Punto S2000.
Xavier Lemonier 207 returns to Spain
http://www.s2000rally.com/car-detail.php?car=55
Excellent news for Pierre Campana, he will run full french tarmac championship except rallye du Touquet(so start of program is Lyon-Charbonnières at end of april)in the italian Power Car Team 207 S2000 he will discover tomorrow at the Ronde del Grifo :)
Seeded order entrylist of rallye du Touquet available :)
I don't see anyone able to threat Pieter Tsjoen for the win though :mark:
Note also a few british drivers like Sebastian Ling(Mitsubishi Lancer GrN), Martin McCormack(Citroën C2R2 Max), or Duncan Cameron(Peugeot 205 GTI)... ;)
Disappointment, only one non french crew(from Belgium)among historic section of the event :(
Favourite will be Arnaud Mordacq in his Ford Escort Cosworth...
Are you getting ready to follow the first leg of Rallye du Touquet this evening(four stages to run today) ???? Big battle between Belgians and French, WRC and S2000 drivers,... :bounce: :bounce:
http://www.patricksoft.fr/Direct_cho...eet=946&type=0
BB leads after first SS..
Audirac crashed, Bouffier rather slow in SS2. Hopefully nothing serious...
Yep...Tsjoen already far in front after SS2 :mark:
Bouffier only fourth after SS4, not as good as I expected. Go Bryan!
I'm wondering... Does it give any pleasure to Tsjoen to win rallies only by having a better car than all others?
Unfortunately yes. With all the money of his uncle, in my opinion he could better drive a whole season in IRC with a S2000 car.Quote:

Patricksoft and ffsa.org aren't again working for the whole day.
Just wondering - what is the total amount of kms for this Rally?
Seeing as our BRC start next weekend, and it's 'only' 80m (128km) over 1 day.
The total number of Kms is 231,15, devided in to three days of rallying. The rally started on friday with 43,25 Kms of competitive stages. On saturday they have the big part with 145,99 Kms and today, sunday there are 41,91 Kms of stages. Hope this answers your question? ;)
Neuville is doing another great performance in Touquet. On the opening stage of today he realised the second best time overall and jumps to fourth overall.
Tsjoen is really in control of this rally, leading by almost six minutes from another Belgian driver, Claudie Tanghe in his old Toyota Celica. :)
Good result from the young Belgian.
Has anybody got a link to the Citroen Racing Trophy championship?
Yes, thank you!! Quite interesting, just as I suspected.Quote:

This is the Citroën Benelux Racing Trophy, I don't know a link to the French championship.
Hey !!! Rallye du Gier starting today, event counting for the french cup championship and the swiss rally championship :)
Results on http://www.patricksoft.fr/
I guess overall favourite is Grégoire Hotz ;)
But carefull to french David Salanon and Gilles Nantet though :p :
Curiosity: Arnaud Monnet running for the first time in an S2000
Next week first round of the french gravel championship, the terre des Causses
Melissa Debackere in C2R2 Max there :bounce:

By the way, fantastic entrylist this week-end in Corsica at the Ronde de la Giraglia :D
http://www.ffsa.org/res_rallye_frame.php?id=1159
That are 'only' gentlemen-drivers Tom. I don't see a big name on the entry list, so you can't call it fantastic.
It's fantastic because there is aloooot of Peugeots, Wim :D
Good one, Mirek. ;)

First leg was late following swiss driver Pascal Perroud crash on SS1(both driver and codriver thankfully unhurt) :mark:
Fantastic run by the Porsches, Véricel ahead of Nantet(3rd and 4th overall)
Good start by Bonnefis who leads the GrR...
Thanks for the links Wim but I was looking for the French Citroen Racing Trophy.

Rallye Alsace-Vosges(3rd event of french tarmac championship)definitely cancelled for lack of budget(main budget going to the WRC event) ;(
After SS2 rallye terre des Causses Jean-Marie Cuoq has already a very big advantage
Best non-french driver is Estonian Siaku Verimaa(never heard about him  )5th overall; problem for Belgians(Bruyneel and Munster both on Skoda WRCs)...??? :mark:
http://www.ffsa.org/res_rallye.php?i...&catCourse=ral
Now I wait for Melissa Debackere time on SS1 :p :
It is Sakari (Saku) Vierimaa, a Finnish driver who won in 1987 the Finnish Rally Championship with a Mazda 323 4WD. He was born on 11 April 1956. His best WRC result was 12th in the Lombard RAC Rally in 1988. He took twice a podium in the ADMV Pneumant Rallye (3rd in 2000 and 2nd in 2002) and was 4th in the ADMV Lausitz Rally 2004, counting for the German Rally Championship. He did of course Rally Finland (best result there: 19th in 1984 with an Opel Ascona) and Arctic Lapland Rally (best result there: 2nd in 1995 with Ford Sierra RS Cosworth 4x4) many times and retired in the Rajd Polski 2005 with a Subaru Impreza WRX STI. The reason was that he was out of fuel in that rally.
Retirement with mechanical problem for Dominique Bruyneel and Saku Vierimaa :(
Bernard Munster was forfait before start of rally :mark:
End of day one terre des Causses, two Peugeots, a Ford and a Skoda in front(Cuoq, Chieusse, Carbonaro and Bonato), then the S2000(Doux)... ;)
Tomorrow four more stages to end the rally...
PS: Mélissa Debackere is 50th overall after SS3(about 10th of the Citroën Racing Trophy)
Victory for Jean-Marie Cuoq at the terre des Causses in front of Yoann Bonato in the Auriol Competition's Skoda Octavia and Paul Chieusse ;)
Best GrN was Arnaud Morel(6th overall)
Winner of the Citroën Racing Trophy on gravel was Marc Amourette ahead of Manu Gascou and Nicolas Gajek...Mélissa Debackere finished 6th in the CRT for her first ;)
Next event of the french gravel championship will be terre de l'Auxerrois in about three weeks(23/25th of april)...
6th out of 10 at the finish. That just proves how moderate she is Tom ;)
