Now, that does not make sense... Loeb won something like 17 of the last 18 tarmac rallies (i am not sure of the number I stopped counting long ago)... And you say he is not a tarmac specialist?

btw, being French Gravel champion does not mean you are world class on gravel!

I think a good term for Loeb would be 'rally specialist'.

Unfortunately Mikko didn't take the championship!!!
He gave us an excellent performance the whole year and thank him for the competition...
Without him Loeb would have taken the championship from Acropolis ;)

I so hope so. Lost count of the amount of people moaning about Loebs domination today and im getting seriously bored of it now...

I know this has been said before, but Loeb has to develop and win in another car (that is not a Citroen) to show his true greatness. I think he could, I am so desparate to find out if he could though!

Despite the loss I'd have to say that it was quite an impressive season by Mikko and he has been improving each year in WRC after very difficult start around 2003-2004. Back then there was no way in hell I could believe he would ever become a title contender, but you see. :D

Anyway, 2010 could be tougher for him again against Loeb, because we will have 4 tarmac rallies in the calendar compared to two we had this season.
