Top Gear and it's fakeness!!!!
Well, im sure most of you remeber the old Top Gear. It was a car show.
Nowadays the new version, which started 2002, left the car review formula to a more entertainment programme around the car world and I understand why they did it. The average person dosen't really care if a car is faster, if it has more space than the old model, etc...
But after seeing that last "Bolivia" episode I couldn't really "buy" what they were doing, I mean, the part were they cut the trees was nonsense and totally useless and avoidable, I know it were just 2 trees, but now some may think cutting trees is an part of an adventure. Then we have the snake in the car, the Clarkson cross with a car which some think was production, and the totally staged Hammond car fall. After all those episodes I tend to think Top Gear is no more a credible show, it was before, just a bit but it was, now I just think it's a show directed to Kids and Teenagers which it's fine, but after all, some old fans I think are dropping the show. Recent ratings show that week after week it looses audience. I wish they can go around the problem and continue with the show but please dont think we are that stupid.
Thoughts????
