Done my shakedown in the Citroen C4 (PS1). Set up was:
Tires: Wet tarmac
Gears: -1
Susp: +2
Power ratio: +2
Brake bias: +2
Brake power: +3
Steering: +3
Times:
3:26.70 - drifted wide twice
3:20.45
3:18.64
3:17.73
3:18.92
Very happy with these times....you really have to drive this stage like RBR game...the slower you feel you going the better the time. Just avoid those snowbanks!

But you'll have to take my word it was Sweden SS5. I wanted to compare times with you guys so it would have been stupid do do anything else LOL

Well, I finished shakedown, but got nowhere close to the times of the others....I had way to much understeer, I did not even get clos to my 3m10 from last year.

I love driving in the snow, but I always need some time to get used to it and can go fast.

Suzuki Motorsport - Monte Carlo report
Belgian driver Juha, in the number 12 Suzuki, has just completed the first round of the WRC 2008. How did it go?
I'm still experiencing a learning curve. It's the first time for me with the car on tarmac and I'm trying to cope with its oversteering behaviour. We finally found a good compromise during the later stages but I feel we can do better.
What was your target for this rally?
We were aiming for a top 5 position after day 1. I prefer the snowy stages so the plan was to attack during the second day.
Your car looks slightly dented?
Ah yes, I was a bit too fast sometimes, trying to make up for the car's handling. I think some guardrails will need repainting now.
How did it go on the snow?
Much better, although I was disappointed that I couldn't repeat my excellent shakedown time. The times were good enough for the top 3, but all depends on how bad my tarmac driving was the day before.
